  • 440 is a little big for a Coronet in my mind. I would have built a 360 ground up mild heads. but not my car and not my money. Nice car by the way.

  • this car weighs 3,322 lbs.

  • the coronet was meant for big block its all in the suspension and this is no hemi. If it was a hemi you would see a blurr

  • 440 hemi

    hahahahahahaha

    your all hosers

  • 440,hemi 4 speed.....he was refering to the hemi trans azzwipe....go fix the rust on your chebby......

  • get your head out of your ass theres no "Hemi 4-Speed" theres two diff manual transmissions a 23 spline input and a 18 spline input the 18 was used on hemi cars AND 440 cars

  • AND was reffered to as the HEMI 4 SPEED,!!!...you really are a dickwad aren't ya!

  • actually was refered to as the A833 just had a different clutch

  • in my opinion the 440 wasnt meant for a car the size of the Coronet. It was usually found in bigger Chryslers like the Newport and New Yorker. that car is so light which i s why when given the gas the front raises and he has to keep her from zigzagging. Too much power for the coronet frame.

  • Comment removed

  • The zigzagging probably stems from the fact that he's ANNIHILATING the narrow rear tires and has very little to do with the front end rising :-)

  • Thanks:

I've seen cops do this , minus the peeling out, giving the gas to the floor and the engine nearly jumps through the hood.

  • light ? you dont know what your talkin about.............i weighed my 67 R/T and it went 4123 ,thats NOT a light weight car......

  • yes light you f'in moron. The Coronets also came in slanted 6 cylinder. The 440 was fitted in big Chrysler cars like the New Yorker and Imperial. The slanted 6 was a mainstay of smaller Chrysler cars like the Dodge Dart. The Coronet is heavy compared to modern fiberglass pieces of sh**. Compared to big cars of the 60s and 70s it's LIGHTWEIGHT. I grew up working in my familys' cab business. We owned all kinds of Chrysler cars including a Barracuda, another light car.

  • So,,,,,you think a car weighing over 2 tons is light?........you know jack shit moron.....

IF,you go to 1968,and weigh the lightest Coronet, then it might be 3600 pounds,But in '67,which the car in the video is,they were NOT LIGHTWEIGHT cars, plus that one in the Video is a drop top, they were even heavier than my hardtop.....

the rise in the front end comes from torque, nothing else, just torque......

  • american muscle!

  • nice hat!

  • You might not want to show yourself beating the thing if your trying to sell it!

  • im sure it can take it

  • impressive, that looks like so much fun. new cars are cool but none could ever be as fun or cool as the old muscle.

  • Damn that thing sound STRONG!!!!!

  • Double clutch that baby or at least rev match er'! you locked up the wheels gearin down to 3rd then to 2nd. But great videos and excellent burnout's MUSCLE CARS RULE

  • Good gosh, all you dudes on here run the gears like little girls. Men have been driven automatic's for too long.

  • sweet stuff man...i love you how you burnout in the street and not care who's watching lol.

  • thought you were gonna swerve into that telephone pole

  • Oh man that was tight ! NICE!!!

  • Thats badass dude. Don't know bout that Boston hat though.

  • And on the 7th day God created Mopar

  • cars like that have to be stick

  • that was hot.....

  • A friend of mine had a 12.5 to 1 comp. 446 in a Roadrunner that did a very similar take off. It sure sets you back in the seat! Doesn't it?! How cool!!!

  • manuals a fun cars. escpecially rear wheel drives. fun fun fun. automatics suck balls. im thinkin of converting my 73 Dart Sport into a manual. whatever i can find basically. 4 speed or 5. A833s are rediculous. i might have to find one out of a junkyard

  • 4 speeds are for burnouts and auomatics are for racing.

  • Autos are for people who cant shift fast enough to be consistent on a race track!

  • Yeah, you're right.

  • BOSTON RED SOX YOUR CAP?

  • That isn't the dashboard for a 67 Dodge Charger. A 67 Coronet, yes. Charger, no.

  • Never mind, I misread the post! sorry...

  • they just don't stop too good do they ...???

gets the blood pumpin' tho !

    very cool -

  • good ol push n pray brakes.

  • What are you shifting at?

  • don't ya just hate traffic?

  • 0:33 you almost lost it.

  • That gave me wood...

  • Excelent way to burn tires, true horsepower at work, great video, well done....

  • Nope. It's an R/T with a 440. Seen the car multiple times on the internet. And I'm pretty sure they didn't drop hemi's into Coronet 440s

  • This is a 1967 Dodge, Coronet R/T with a 440, although thy did come with 426 hemis as an option. What makes this car so rare is that it is a manual, covert with cool color combo.

  • Yea, totally. It's why I love this car...

  • love the car but whats with the down shift, maybee a little smoother next time.also if you read some of these comments they have no idea what their talking about they only know what their told by a retard never really did or worked on these.

  • That's cool at 00:13!

  • Actually, checked his other vids. Nice car, but just a wedge head big block. I wouldnt be tearing it up too much either with that stock Inland shifter. Good looking car though

  • what would you do to this completely stock car?

  • shut up, this guy can drive you moron.

  • sweet
