isadora gets ridiculed still i see, however you girls gave us a rose pastel treat with your delightful dance. thanks for bringing isadora to life in your little dance. she is sadly underestimated, expressing herself truthfully through breathwork and movement. we humans could all do some of this dance and it may have happy consequences!!! xx
Was this dance originally for the Isadorables? Or is it done "in the style of?" I think it might be more effective if the costumes were exactly alike. As it is, the individual variations in the movements AND the different colored, multi-colored costumes become jumbled and the result is a disordered stage. Just my observation.
No... not for the Isadorables, so I suppose more "in the style of". The dancer on the front left is the only "trained" Isadora dancer in the group. The rest of us only have limited experience with the technique which explains the variations in movement. Its a deceptively difficult technique to master correctly! Personally, I'm more of a Horton based dancer so movement from the sternum was definitely challenging. Thanks for your observations.
i so love this video. superior watching each further time x x x x x x x

I like the slight variation in movement, and slight variation in costume... such a relief to see these gestures made to lovely music.

The Brahms goes well with this. It's nice to see Isadora still respected.
