Xplorer is the best guitar. It has the best buttons, has a good strum bar (they all do except the Rockband guitar), the Star power activation isn't messed up like on the les pauls and it may be wired but at least you don't have to pay for batteries. Also lol that is easy...really. _(Solo buttons suck)_

personally i hate the explorer because of the SP activation, i sit and hold any guitar i use horizontal and use select for SP.

i know i use the x plorer myself bought the game only... and got gh2 before hand and gh3 from walmart and they only give you the xplorer with it...trying to make it cheap as possible as walmart always does. I acctually love the guitar but i also hate the sp activation I try to activate right on a note and it activates like 1/2 second late so when i'm going for a high score I just get someone to stand beside me and press select on the notes i tell them to (I mess up when i try to do it myself)...

I'm not using a Fender Stratocaster guitar that comes with Rockband. It's the explorer for Guitar Hero so there are no solo buttons thus I am forced to strum on solos. Even though those notes there were H-o's and P-o's I still strummed every other note to use the clicking sound of the strum bar as a sort of metronome.Learn your game before you comment.
