@HelenaJN Food in plastic with BPA is only an issue if it sits for long periods of time or your food always comes from that (like baby bottles and formula). Sitting something in plastic for a couple of hours will not transmit any real amount of BPA to cause problems.

You should not put hot food in plastic. Heating causes the plastic to release toxins which of course get absorbed by the food. Try to avoid doing this it's not a good idea. If you don't believe me look it up.
