@underoath115 The best is to get an underwater housing for your camcorder. I now use a Sony XV500 with a Light and Motion Housing.

Waterproof camcorders are not waterproof to any great depth, usually only about 5m. Definately using a HD camcorder with a housing is the best, though more expensive option.

It is a great hobby.
