For some reason when I first played this I always thought that "Dark Guld" was Death Adder/Bringer, and this was inside of his tomb. Not sure why, the thing in the middle looked like a sarcophagus to me as a kid.

dying voice of enemies is supposed to be for the amazon, and the dying voice of the dwarf is the dying voice of the enemies.

The best way to beat this boss is to purposely get knocked down by the skeletons by jumping and getting hit. Then during the invincible frames of getting up do your basic combo on guld who cant hit you :D. Easily beat it on hard by doing this

Death adder was thought to be the main bad guy in golden axe 1 and in the console version it was death bringer. same in golden axe 2 your made to believe that dark guld is the main bad guy but he isnt. Anyway thats what i think and the ending backs up that theory

BTW you did well but not a great fight, its best to anticipate when he is going to spellcast and interrupt it alwyas, spares you form his magic but also probably the easiet time to hit him.

I had lots of fun with this game, especially in muliti player mode when I got the chance. I liked the fantasy element and yea the lady warrior was pretty tasty, nice legs.

She was probalby teh weakest fighter though, and her superior magic was not useful enoguh to compensate.

Barbarian was good at the standard 'jump and chop' move. The dwarf was good at close range, charging, and best special move giving him an overall edge.
