@TheDistortedImage Actually,it does now,but not solely by rockbox installer,you need emCORE installer to boot,then load rockbox firmware on it,

its quite stable now,but still got issue on battery draning

@y34r I know, I got it working it working a while ago but my player kept on freezing at the start up menu before I could load the rockbox firmware. I really hope they get a stable version working soon because I hate the sound quality the default firmware only allows you to have

how do you get it on the regular ipod view after it is installed?? like you have it at the begining of the video?? i cant figure that out?

@Dan92792 just reset the ipod and when the apple logo shows up put it on hold and it will take you to the normal ipod. but when you reset it again if you dont put the hold on it will go back to rockbox

plug in your ipod to your computer then go to my computer and open your ipod with itunes then restore factory or default settings

Computer couldn't detect it, put solved my problem. Just kept pressing all button for like an hour until some weird screen showed up, which had a reset option.

How do i exit Rockbox than go back to the Orignial Main Menu on the Ipod Video i tryed holding in the Play Button but when i turn it off it goes back to Rockbox how do i do it please

you hold down menu plus the center buat the same time. when the screen goes black flip on the hold switch and wait it should ho to your main settings. then if you want to go to rockbox again hold center and menu but do not put it on hold

make sure you get a compatible ipod, the new 6th generation 80 and 120 gig models are incompatible

Rockbox seems cool, but after I put it on my iPod all my music bought off iTunes (with the lock protection things on them) don't appear in my music, can someone please help? is it just impossible or can I actually do something about it?

Thanks very much! I just installed rockbox on my 80GB iPod video, along with almost every extra i could (ipod linux, iLaunch etc etc) and i wasnt sure what this app was capable of. Totally revamped my ipod, thankyou!

Fantastic video! Just a quick correction - Rockbox is NOT Linux. Ipod-Linux is Linux but RockBox Isn't.
