  • I Love The Video Expedition 18 / Soyuz Rocket Launch It Can Increase My Knowledge

  • Nice Video Expedition 18 / Soyuz Rocket Launch That You Share , So Very Nice Thanks You

  • I Really Like The Video Expedition 18 / Soyuz Rocket Launch From Your

  • Your Video Expedition 18 / Soyuz Rocket Launch Is Very Useful Sharing

  • Americans on a Russian launch vehicle, America, we should be ashamed!

  • black ops

  • LOL you gotta love Americans they came to tap their good ol' buddies & rivals, RUSSIA for a space flight.

  • 1:00:40 Guy says 102lbs of thrust... I'm pretty sure my dog can fart that, maybe I should try to launch her into orbit?

  • 1:02:57

lol, the movie Armageddon definitely exaggerated the take off experience for the astronauts... looks more like people on the chain hill of a roller coaster. Excited, but just sorta like "do dee do... not much to do until we get there..."

  • cought myself saying " wooaaaw --- like a rocket" the moment it lift off =D

  • Space shuttle launch looks more epic lol

  • those Russian did great job indeed. They worked really hard during the cold war.. and now even the west tasted their hard work.

    reliable tech at cheaper price!!

  • the rocket lounch was a very successful louch!!!!

  • How does it dragonamt? tbh all the Soyuz rockets have been launched from a location higher then the space shuttles and never had freezing problems. While the Challenger, launched closer to the equator(warmer) blew up because of a Frozen O-ring? lol.

  • @11AMERICANO11 His point is the inclination and delta V imparted by the rotation of the earth. Earth's rotational speed at the equator is 1040 mph. it's much less the closer you get to the north pole. where Baikonur is it's only 680 mph. Shuttle takes advantage of earth's rotation much more than Russia does at 49 degrees latitude. Harder to get to ISS orbit for both also, due to the steep ISS inclination of 51.6 degrees.

  • It has to be hard launching a rocket into space that far from the equator.

  • It has to be tough to launch a spacecraft that far from the equator.

  • It has to be tough to launch a spacecraft that far from the equator.

  • Did anyone catch the slipup about 102 POUNDS of thrust?!

My Honda Accord has over 150 Pounds of thrust, FYI. :D

  • @EdmDude Actually, your Accord has quite a bit more than that. Remember, gears multiply that "thrust."

  • love soyuz!

  • Russia always been first in space flight and engineering not US

    Russia did everything first

  • @GeRzAwN If that were they case, I'm sure many of us would like to see the images from the Russian moon landing. I'd also like to point out that the US space shuttle design was first and notable more successful than Buran.

  • @spacevidcast

They have proved moon landing was a hoax

They just said that because falling behind Soviet Union

Space Shuttle beautiful - Buran was good but US Shuttle better

  • @GeRzAwN No one has "proved" the moon landing were a hoax, besides Fox, and they did as a mockumentary/spoof type of thing. If it were faked, Russia would have said so (considering they hated us at the time), and the 500,000 NASA employees that were working on the Saturn V and Apollo designs at the time would be starting to come forward, seeing as many are now starting to reach the end of their lives. Besides, why would we fake going to the moon *NINE* times?

  • @spacevidcast they hated you ?! my friend, everybody hates USA because it is a terrorist country. beginning from your creation in america to today you guys are like viruses. you like killing others and taking away all they have and live on it. you motherfuckers like blood on your hands. And about this moon landing, im not sure whether its true or not but if it is true it would be because you motherfukers have a lot of money from killing others, you made first hydrogen bomb to threaten others...

  • @roboticmehdi This has nothing to do with us. We just cover spaceflight. Let's keep the politics and conspiracies out of the comments section here please. And the language.

  • @spacevidcast nice video. thanks for uploading :)

  • @roboticmehdi America is rich because the land is rich. The only people we ever killed thad made us more rich was the NAZI's because we made a lot of money rebuilding Europe because no one else could, because we destroyed what was left of the manufacturing base because it was making panzers at the time. Would you rather we hadn't done that?

  • @spacevidcast IT turly was! the SRB's used on the shuttle were FAR cheaper than the Energia rockets used on the buran.

  • @GeRzAwN All i have to do form here is run your ass over with this video inorder to make you STFU. watch?v=wvWHnK2FiCk Lets remember now that not a SINGLE Saturn V was lost during a launch :D.

  • Communism rules!

  • skip to 0:59:50 to see the launch :p

  • why NASA use russian tecnology I thought they hve their own space shuttle?

  • @rolandgarroz Shuttle program is coming to an end. the US won't have its own manned rockets for at least three years, so the US will be buying rides from Russia.

  • @rolandgarroz Soyus is far the cheapest and is much more reliable than american designs.

  • they don't look cramped at all in there

  • The times when the west and the soviet union progressed fast in space exploration... we gotta get that back. I mean, that part of those times.

Of course both Russia and the US have "terrorized" parts of the world, they are/were superpowers^^ Every great power in history have done it. The chinese, the inkas, zulu's, romans, osman empire, the french, the brits, the mongols, the indian empire... you get the point. However, lets hope the future is different:O

  • whats up whit the glass betwen the poeople at 25 min ?

  • How do they get back?? splashdown?

  • @TwoEyeCyclops

They wait for the americans to show up and take them home in the Shuttle.... >_>. w00t?

  • @ryanfuller5 the shuttle is defunct but the Russian program is not :)

  • @nicksynnz It's not defunct. It's reached the end of its life, and it's time for an improved launcher.

  • Superb!

  • Tried and true Soyuz.

    Good job Motherland.

  • i think you mean Fatherland!

  • 1:00:45 - "...102 pounds of thrust..."???

  • he probably means tons :-D

  • amazing!!!! and it was on my birthday

  • Video won't allow me to shuttle-jog it.

  • Oh vlad, And we all no that russia has never terrorized anyone, You guys are just little angels doing great work all over the planet.

  • The fact is while computer technology is jumping 100% advancement in 12 months the rocket or these space ship technology is like 30 years old that still used today and consuming giant amount of financing. Well for example ICBM technology too is advancing and gaining more human destructive methodologies and the space ship technology dead still.

  • nobody in the world trusts the united states. nobody knows which country they are going to terrorize next. as for russia, it it pursuing its interests for the better of its people, just like the united states.

in other words, we don't trust you either.

  • @vladimir2277 for the better of it's elite, yes. just like the united states.

  • @vladimir2277 I wouldn't say that we've necessarily gone out with the intent to terrorize foreign peoples, but there can be no question that U.S. foreign policy is completely backward. It seems that any country whose government we don't like, we think we have the right to invade, but if a country that didn't like our government invaded us, we'd be the first to say that they can't do that.

  • @vladimir2277 SNORE AT YOUR SHITTY NATIONALISM! Russia is corrupt as FUCK playing dirty wars as well with the caucus. fuck your propaganda.

  • @vladimir2277 Plenty of countries trust us. You trust us enough to train our astronaughts on your spacecraft. When I go to canada i don't see an armed force ready to repel an invasion. Japan trusts us so much they don't even have a military because they know we protect them.

  • @monokhem not for free . the us invade,s iraq destroy it and rebuiled it again but how much was the price ? billion,s was stolen from iraq and now libya the same shit nothing the US do for free = OIL

  • @khalid6591 Libya and Iraq are totaly different and anyone with any understanding of the region and its recent history knows that. It looks like you are just trying your best to America bash and doing a poor job of it.

  • @monokhem what do you call the killing of million,s around the world by the US governmnt,s dirty war,s ? love to the world

  • @khalid6591 I call you full of cap. When you go throwing around made up numbers like that it shows that you aren't worth being taken seriously.

  • @monokhem ok so the US government,s from ww2 till now didn,t kill any 1 in their dirty war,s ok maybe i was dreaming !!! how about nuking japan in www2 oh sorry that was a dream too sorry ,you are brainwashed puppt

  • Get your facts right. Bush got reelected in 2004.

Soyuz is the most reliable system available today.

Zenit was supposed to be the "next Soyuz" but partially belongs to Ukraine now, launching it aint simple.

  • Thanks.

  • W00t, another awesome launch, thank you ben for recording it!

    ~Gooey

  • Always amazing to watch! :D

Sorry I had to miss it.

    Ben, thanks for the recording.
