mmm mmm i love Bobby!  :) I check this song out every so often--it's one of my favorites, sung by one of my favorite people. While I agree with not capturing John, I believe it is poor direction. But maybe I'm just being biased--it still brings me closer to tears each time i hear it! I love his facials :) love ya bobby!

I agree, song's too fast, but I think Robert does a good job with it despite the speed. There's not a ton of chances to "act" in a number like this: he's essentially giving a sales pitch, so you do what you can. He goes flat on the F in "Help me TRY!" but other than that, this is one of my favorite versions of this song.

Very nicely done, but for me, too fast. Director's fault - not the soloist. Great chorus, nice orchestra, promising soloist. But to get the real force of emotion from this piece, the words need to come out a little slower.

Very nice voice but failed to capture john...a butch man who has never in the show shown such consideration....it should break ur hart that this man eventually breaks down and sings such a melodramatic piece...he should have some conflict not just full drama clutching of pearls....great voice ...poor direction and choices
