Yup. Librarians are pretty bitchy, but there are times that they are nice. If you are not bitchy, tendency is that the students/readers will not respect you. Male librarians are nicer though.
Stereotype, but certainly not reality in any way. I'm a librarian and I know a lot of librarians, and very few of them would fit the librarian image depicted here.
