Yep the 40D was the best camera in it's price range when it first came out and not at al like Nikons D40. Fast is not even going to keep up with this camera.

Thats a great camera.. nice to see thats your first DSLR.. my first DSLR is coming tomorrow and its the Eos 400D Digital Rebel XSi :) nothing compared to the 40D.. but oh well xD
