  • how to render physic to video in blender 2,5 ???

  • Wow. Impresive!

  • hmm??

  • sorry....i want know how can you threw objects on the wall to destroy it with physis because i can't animate ogjects that can collide with the wall..tk

  • Change the object you want to make collide to a "Rigid Body"

  • how did you do that wall didn't explode or destroy because when I'm coping my bricks to create wall and starting the game (P) the wall is demolishing! I've asked people who create physic animation like you but they sad they don't know and in result I didn't get answer... It's irritating isn't it ?

  • If you look at the first 2 sec in this clip you`ll see that the boxes are about to collapse, they dont lay still. I dont know why they dont lay calm in top of each other. Why my structure of boxes stays(while they are active) and not demolishes the whole thing? i dont know

  • how do you give the red objects power? did you use softbodies for the ball and cube to bounce. How do you get them to collide with the bricks in the middle?

  • The reason behind the block not staying in place is that they were in irregular shapes, so gravity acted on the objects on the top row and made the structure look as if it would collapse before being hit by the projectile. I guess im starting to grow an interest in this program =)

    lol

  • @marsanmarsipan

when u go to the world tab (F5) there is a panel which says Mist/Stars/Phys

there u can set log to 1, phys and sub to 6 and your bricks wont bounce^^

  • @dahahaka weird. mine is limited to 5...

  • how big are you bricks and which settings did u use in Actor/Bounds ? Is it possible to share with us .blend file ?

  • how are you geting the objects to move horizontal like that

  • Nice.

  • You can make softbodies fall by gravity without using the game engine. Can you also make a regular cube (no softbody) fall by gravity without the game engine?

  • So cool! I also found this other animation, Plythora Particle Animation (maybe by the same guy?)

    You should check it out!

    God Bless

  • now the goal is to creat an object that when hit will compleatly absorb the blow then reflect the object back

  • in fact that would be easier that what he did :)

  • where do you get blender

  • i dunno, i randomly found it somewhere and decided to download it, type blender download to google and youll get something

  • How exactly do you use the blender physics engine? I'm not sure so I have to animate everything frame by frame.

  • I am not trying to spam or anything, just helping. Click on my username to go to my page. On there I have a two game engine video tutorials that you can check out under my videos.

  • search for super3boy he has a load of stuff showing how to use blender

  • Very nice! I have some learning to do...

  • how you put shadow?

  • i would lie 2 kno where 2 downlod blender i it easy 2 learn on or hard?

  • just google search it. it's free. it's hard as hell to use in my opinion cause i use 3ds max.

  • that looked really good

    good work

  • youre the one who is stupid. stupid enough to make a comment like that.

  • Do you even know, what it is about? It's about a PHYSICS TEST (see title) in a 3D rendering software. If you don't know something about it, than don't say something to it.

  • how do you get the ball to move???

  • I attach a keyboardcontroller to the cube and the shpere to move towards the direction that i have keyed. When ready i shoot them with a key on the keyboard. This is all in the "logic"(F4) section in blender.

  • That was SO FRICKIIIN COOOOOOOOOOL!

  • can you tell me how you do save videos out of blender? :/ best would be if you could write me a message

    thank you

  • @Ruzzy: Rendered in Blender Internal. 16 AO samples if i can remember correctly.

@mrf1102: I got reflections on the bricks, thats why they get shiny.

  • do you have to pay for your models, where do you get them if not?

  • I always make the models myself.

  • so how do you make your own?

  • why would you pay for models of bricks? (other than the shaders)

  • @ordaned1

They are just a bunch of boxes and one sphere. Pretty much the most basic things you can have.

  • hey. if u cod can u make a "how to get started" movie ? im new to blender and i need to know how 2 move around and put textures and stuff. if u cold make some basic models like how to make a cubes texture (just put it on basickly) and make it spin and somthing witch isent so hard but gives us noobs a idea.

  • i agree

how to get started movie is a good idea

  • :) good some one answerd after 2 month lol

  • Pretty cool simulation. Did you render it with Yafray?

  • how did you get shiny and coulored brickes and stuff

  • Very well done buddy

  • great! but its a bit jumping at the beginning^^

  • that was cool

  • I didn't read the comments yet but how did u do that? What program did u use?

  • so cool!

  • belgref: Go to the "game" section in the mainmenu, and check "Record Game Physics to IPO". Enjoy!

  • how can i render an animation made with the GameEngine

  • I have some experience with 3dMax so that helped alot when i started using blender. I learn new stuff all the time so i dont know how to use every function yet.

  • i used blender 1st LOL do u have any vid tutorials

  • Cool, How long did it take you to learn how to use Blender? Thats really good! :)

  • deltaepsylon: Veolocity was made as kjknohw points out with sensor keyboard. Had the box and shpere fire with "f" and "g".

Zacariem: Have no idea, i placed the cubes exactly intop of each other with move->direction->and i pressed "2".

I think i rendred this in blender internal with some regular lamps and ambient occlusion. Rendertime per frame was about 25sec as i vaguely remember. The box-structure has a slight reflection.

  • also...is it YafRay rendered?? the materials/textures look realy realistic. Did you use a sun light?? it makes the shadows look realy nice lol :D

    zacariem

  • does any1 no an effective way 2 stop the blocks from moving at the start of the animation??? if you place them touching or overlapping each other they bounce away from each other, and if you place they with gaps between them, they obviously fall down the z axis :/

    jonnyt

  • that was sweet

  • Ive seen better.

  • I saw another tutorial where you can animate the initial motion then when you press P it give it initial velocity. Haven't tried it yet though.

  • in logic, sensor keyboard space. controller and. Actuater motion (set lin vel to what you want). Connect them, press space after you start the game, and play

  • Thank you so much for this comment. It was extremely helpful.

  • how did u get the object to have the initial veolicty?
