Don't waste your money until Android fixes the WiFi issue. LOTS of people cannot connect to Wifi after awhile; some a day after using it, others after a couple of weeks.

Just check out the forums on "Galaxy Tab Wifi Issue" they are all flooded with messages on that issue.

@luigicamp69 I use Tab for 6 month already. Not a single (!) issue with Wi-Fi. In fact not a single issue with anything. And believe me, I do use it on a daily basis -- multimedia, calls, sms, voip, books, e-mails, office etc. It also works as wi-fi gateway for my laptop.

With Tab I can do anything with content -- upload from any source: internet, wi-fi, bluetooth. I can then move, edit or delete it. And for music I use WinAmp which runs on Android just fine and can sync with all my computers.

For instance this is smaller and offers different networks than the Ipad. Its also on the Android system. This and the Ipad have many differences. Go drive a Model T if you want to keep the originals.

Nice, but it borrows too much from the iPad. If the Tab had been release about 5 years before the iPad, then I'd say this is awesome. Unfortunately, it was released after the iPad and seems to be riding Apple's coattails. I also think that it looks odd when held vertically because the screen is narrow. Why couldn't they release a product like this BEFORE Apple released the iPad? That just goes to show that no one has the same level of innovation and has to wait until Apple does something first.

USB connection, Micro SD slot.....those reasons alone make this a better product than the IPAD. I agree, the IPAD has the ITunes/App market...but if you want to use this thing for true production, you have to admit the USB and Micro SD slot is the key.

It depends of what you want. For people looking for portability, iPads are too bulky and big. iPad do not have USB ports either, so that's a major inconvenient. USB is the de facto standard port for today's cellphones, eink readers and most digital cameras. If you are going to use the iPad at home and read PDFs or do not need to write extensive documents, iPads are excellent choice.

Only difference is the Operating system. This is basically a pc-ish version. More customisation with less tracking what you are doing. Cheaper easier to get things to run more variation and generally more reliable not because it works better but because its alot easier to make apps for. No expensive licenses needed either.
