Book of Leviticus describes the various sacrifices and the needs to know

on how this is to be done. God told Moses and Aaron which animals they

can/can't eat in a sacred place when they are to sacrifice animals, then eat their portions before God.Sacrifices are to be divided between God, the priest,and the one offered, in some cases the entire sacrifice is a single portion to God, burnt to ashes. they do this to purify themselves.It didnt mention that pigs cant be eaten in a regular basis.

Mark 7:18-23, 1 Timothy 4:4, Acts 10:9-15, Romans 14:5,6 1 Corinthians 10:23-33. Eating this way is a PERSONAL choice. When Jesus died on the cross he fulfilled the law, therefore we don't have to live by the standards of those in the old testament. We are now living in the new testament. Well said by Paster Osteen. I would add that the meat you eat should come from animals that have not been mistreated with antibiotics, GMO corn, rBST hormone, and confinement to a small enclosure. Domesticated animals like sheep and cows need to be raised on grass, their normal diet, not on corn or leftovers of themselves after slaughter. They must be kept in roomy places with adequate sunlight and must be let out to walk, play, and graze every day. They must be raised organic without cruelty.

it does say in the bible to not eat pork

although it has a split hoof, it does not chew the cud. You are not to eat their meat or touch their carcasses - Deuteronomy 14:8

and if you thought of saying that was the old testament and people are not supposed to follow the old testament ,

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them" - Matthew 5:17
