Its ridiculous to blame Beckham for LA's short comings.He's the only player in the league that has enough quality2play in the English premier league.Unfortunately for his key attributes to really shine he needs good players around him.A very individual player who is worse wud probably have more success.

LA's problem is their defenders are disgraceful,as is the keeper.there is no organization or unity and no one puts in a tackle.no1 else in the leauge has allowed so many terrible ameteur goals

i seriously think the beckham factor was a total disaster.

he helps the team enormously in terms on scoring and setting up goals, but he takes up WAY too much money on the salary cap.

if he wasn't there, we would be able to buy cannon, marshall, and albright back, and go back to having a phenomenal team.

Yes, Beckham really helps the Galaxy.... only on offense, ticket sales and jersey sales. Becks' contract is also not a problem because of the DP Rule aka "Beckham Rule". But it's true that losing three key defensive players with only one good return in Buddle is the reason for this disastrous season.

i support the MLS but they are killing the galaxy. we could be one of the biggest clubs in the world but we have to have a salary cap because of lame ass teams like kansas city and rsl. fuck them assholes. why hold back the big teams just because of a few small clubs. the big 4 arent held back by the FA so why are we being handycapped. it pisses me off. just another reason the MLS isnt being taken seriously around the world.

Galaxy has spent a lot more than other clubs and is still playing horrible. An amateur team can do better than that. Those guys just want the season to be over. Beckham is already old. He hasn't been able to get used to this kind of football, but at least he's bringing in money. I mean look at the crowd.
