Developer sure used too much drugs....but...this is one of the most fun games i ever played. Not much studios like Konami created something this crazy and, sometimes, obscene. Next games in this series used ever more nudity

also that boss on that moment looks the same as ( keepers core ) on the original gradius series or like some people says ( gun wall ) but i don't understand why did konami changed it's name ? ( maybe for laughs XD )

Actually Konami didn't rename Keeper's Core. Keeper's Core was the Gun Wall in Gradius 5, the other gun walls had different names and attacks.

How many Parodius games were there? I had a US SNES and used to have the first one (I presume it was that) not this game. The UK SNES was such a cop out. It ran 17% slower and ran on PAl. We got a bad deal in the UK. I was the envy of all my mates when Streetfighter 2 came out. AThey all thought they owned on Mario Kart except when they played me. It was like playing the game in slow motion for me on their SNESs. The packaging was so much cooler than the western style too.

Heh...fooled me good when you said the last boss was the hardest.

From the look of it, it feels like Rika was the true boss of the level. Just seeing you go by it made me thing it would take 50 tries to get past it if I was playing that level. Maybe more than that because of the chance of being...ermm...destracted by her.
