@DeWina512 When this car came out, all cars in Japan had to be advertised with 280 BHP, even if they had more. The Skyline GT-R was the same; it has something like 320+ BHP, but it was claimed to be 280.

yes it kicks my cars ass pretty badly in the corners maybe in a straight line,i drive a mk 1 golf gti with about 210 bhp,ive driven an evo 3 and a 7 but i liked the 3 much more

Yes, I am a proud owner of an EVO 7 and love every bit of it! I can't anwser that, i have never drivin an EVO 8 so i don't know if it's better than the 7. Only thing i have heard is that the 8 is better on fuel than the 7 when being drivin hard.

Does anyone here actually own an evo? Is it worth the extra cash for newer Evo VIII? It has a 6 speed mnual instead of 5, and uper Active YAW control, instead of regular YAW control. It also has slightly different nose cone at front. Does anyone know if its worth the extra cash over the Evo VII??

If you are going to buy the 8 make sure you get the one with 5 speed gear box and mechanical diffs.

6 speed is a pain in the ass. And the EVO has enough torque not to need it.
