Mike Modano is the reason I play hockey he inspired me to play hockey when I was 4 and I love hockey :D I hope to have the skill and skating power that modano's has one day and im sure lotsa of American and Canadian and etc are inspired by him to play the sport of hockey

Modano has always been the Stars' Franchise player...He has class and responsibility, two aspects that defined the Stars at least until Avery hit the scene. He's my favourite player to ever play the game of hockey, and from a young age I was a Stars fan living in Toronto. It's a shame they roll him on the checking line, but he's still putting up pretty good numbers for an old man! When they retire his number in Dallas so many people who aren't even Dallas fans will shed a tear.

Dave Tippet isnt their coach anymore so get your facts right. Second, he IS the dallas stars, everytime you hear the dallas stars you think of mike modano. He wouldn't belong anywhere else but Dallas because that is his team and he wouldn't leave it for anything. Dallas Stars best team in the NHL with such class as Mike Modano.

Yeah he deserves it, no morrow, don't mark me wrong, Morrows a great player, but Mike has worn the colors for plenty more then Morrow, and also Mike represents true spirit and responsibility, and is a good player all around.

I live in Quebec Canada and yep my team is DALLAS STARS. They're not in the playoff and they already miss me :( it maybe means that im a TRUE fans. Ive the green blood and a ST*R at the place of my heart :))) go DALLAS GO... Ott,Ribeiro,Modano,Morrow,Zubo­v,Eriksson and the others... HELLYEAH!!!!

Hekk yeah man, die hard! I was at the game where Brenden Morrow won the series against San Jose in 4th Overtime! It was down in our end when they scored it and we saw it clearly man, it was beautiful. STARS ALL THE WAY!
