I am an old fan of MegadetH and I admit that Chris is a top skill guitarist but he does not fit MegadetH... This is not MegadetH style of soloing.. Dave did great effort to make new riffs (Still not as great as ones in the past) but I didn't like Chris work... Can not be compared to Marty or even Al Petrilli from my point of view...

Don't get me wrong... i like hearing something different, but different has been Risk, World Needs, etc... Its very nice...Now I have even higher hopes for the next album. I thought it was about the same as UA at first (which i didnt like) but its growing on me way more now! Fuck yeah. There's plenty of people who complained about Risk. Maybe not as much the other two albums, but certainly Risk has come in for heavy criticsm just as those Metallica albums have. The only difference between Metallica and Megadeth, is they got lucky. And the only reason they are so heavily criticised, is because of how popular they became. I guarantee, had Megadeth became as popular as Metallica did by selling out, they'd be getting a lot more flak than they are.

No, they werent bad albums. I really like CW and Youthanasia, even Risk has some good songs on it. But Dave did sell out with those albums, and it just annoys me when I hear megadeth fan boys crowing on about Metallica selling out, as if Megadeth never did that themselves. megadeth did sell out on those albums. they werent that bad though. CW and youthanasia had a few good tunes. risk.... well maybe one or two, i really dont care for the rest. i like how megadeths getting back into the thrash style with the new album though. hells yeah =D

No, they werent bad albums. I really like CW and Youthanasia, even Risk has some good songs on it. But Dave did sell out with those albums, and it just annoys me when I hear megadeth fan boys crowing on about Metallica selling out, as if Megadeth never did that themselves. Dave always had a bee in his bonnet about Metallica, and wanted to top them, and that includes in the popularity stakes. Just because he wasnt successful, doesnt mean he didnt sell out. And 1'320 is an awesome song! \m/

i had Rust in peace on Tape when it came outsep/90 & played it alot! it sounds worn out but never did Replace it on CD. heres a trick/hint make a copy & play that in your car so IF it breaks gets lost, stolen you have the Original at Home.

I mean, Dave Mustaine and his musicians have Music in their BLOOD and they were born to do that. While Metallica, well, I dunno why they are still in the business. Their only talented guy is James Hetfield.
You can hear it by yourself: Megadeth's riffs are for music's sake, Metallica's riffs are for riffs' sake. And almost all Kirk's solos are just for speed's sake and they are made of non-sense notes and terrible vibrato.

I disagree. I find that although Megadeth has good songs, they are spread across their discography. Too many filler songs. Metallica hasnt made a good album since And Justice..For All, but they both have made quality music at one point in their career. It all comes down to opinion. Fueds are stupid and limiting.
Anyway, this song sounds pretty good. I've got high hopes for the new album.

Yes, and I think it's pretty much your opinion that The Black Album, for instance, isn't a good album. If a record has at least 5 songs that will get a big response at the concerts, the album is hardly a flop, whether it's fuckin' thrash metal or not.

a tour with megadeth and metallica in the same bill in america.
to much tension between fans and dave vs. kirk hammett is to big and outrageous.. my theory was if dave was not kicked out then there would be no megadeth. so its kinda a good thing but bad because he lost his job and was great with metallica. but it comes to show dave made it big if not bigger

Also, Megadeth and Slayer seem to have solved their old feuds, and are touring together again.

i dont download music that much, most of the time i buy the album unless i cant find it. but a lot of the time i just borrow albums from friends. like how one of my friends let my put united abominations and countdown to extinction on my computer and i let him put rust in peace and peace sells on his computer. so its sorta like tape trading.
