Oh, I think they thought it out very very carefully. Every scheme that comes out of Washington, particularly from the Left, is a pyramid scam. They're always looking for ways to make money while appearing to 'care'. Pelosi, Frank, Waters, etc., all made a fortune off of the Housing Crisis. Cars will run off electric batteries, as soon as it is practical and affordable. People want cheap transportation. The problems is that need to be overcome are purely technological. Higher taxes and weak economies will not speed up the march of technology. All they will do is impoverish the people who might take a risk on buying or investing in the developing technologies.

Wow! Nuclear waste storage in Harry Reid's state? Now I know why Democrats seem to hate clean nuclear energy. Blunt has a great grasp of the effects of cap and trade.
