  • bummer that it is an automatic. just saw your craigslist ad.

  • Nice car!! I have the same engine in my car as as the one you have in your TGP. I have a n/a McLaren 3.1 V6 turbo engine that came out of a 1988 Chevrolet Beretta Prototype from GM and it came with a 5-speed. These cars had these engine originally in the Beretta and the concept were pushed toward the Pontiac Grand Prix.

    Keep that car for a long time. it's a collector's car. :)

  • LOVE YOUR CAR!!!

  • I have a sunbird with the same 3.1 L V6 just not turbo and mine has 238 000 miles and still runs like a champ. treat it well and it will last. :)

  • @c3b2a thanks my tgp has 78000 on it now

  • i like your car

  • Beautiful car!! My baby isnt a turboed version but its just as clean and still has alot of power and only 84,000 original miles!

  • @Transamboy18 cool deal and thanks,,, what year is yours?

  • Thats a BEAUTIFUL car ---

  • thank you

  • no, but i'll check it out

  • thats awesome. I got a 88 gp se with sun roof, weird analog/digital dash. Origanally with a 2.8 pooch, swaped a 3.1 motor in. I was shocked that these engines were turboed after watchin motor week 90. That got me intreseted. Was wonderin if they had different pistons in the tubo compaired to regular 3.1's and upgrade the turbo. ever did any 1/4 mile run's? Yes them wheels are such a pain to keep clean.

  • hey dude no i didn't do a 1/4 mile yet tryin to get it running right first, but i think the crank ,pistons, heads in these car are different than the stock 3.1 i know for a fact the bolts that hold down the plantum are larger than the stock 3.1, thanks for the compliment.. are you on TGP FORUM site too ?

  • recap,, all the trouble shooting i was doing on this car like pulling the injectors, checking fuel pressure,, all it was was the plugs junk autolite 103's less than 200 mile on um, so i put in 3800 turbo plugs and zooooooooooooooooom

  • thats just too sweet, very nice. black is the nicest color for gp's in my opinion, but only if its taken care of. my 95gtp was black and my 02 gtx is black.

  • hey thanks dude,, i wish i had a covered carport ,, i hate to see my car set in the rain,, my sister used to have a 95 model also a sweet car, thanks for the comment

  • I wonder if that cars been repainted... the misplaced decal kinda suggests that.

  • not sure if it's ever been repainted , i just painted the engine yesterday, and will be placing the video here

  • yes after looking the car has been repainted, seems under the new paint it's metallic paint. i tryed to pull off the emblem put afraid to peal the paint off with it ..

  • drooling.. i wish my tgp was shiny like that.. one day though one day,,

  • hey thanks dude,, i'll be painting the top part of the engine black... i'll take a before and after..

  • Nice looking car! I love a black TGP

  • Looks good, Black, uncommon for TGP, tan interior, common for TGP, sunroof, 50/50 for TGP. Now the question is whats up with the rear decal, its supposed to be centered.. Either way, fantastic TGP. Mine is Red (common) with Grey leather (uncommon), and sunroof. Tint the windows, and headlight covers, and that thing would be the apsolute tits!! Pontiac6kSTEAWD

  • humm i never noticed where the decal was suppose to be (good catch) this is my second time owning a TGP love it , im working on getting the headlite covers and i just got the old tint off today, ready for the new..thanks for the complement s

  • Thats a clean TGP you have there.

  • thank you mshantz83, im workin on the rest of the rims now to get the shine on,,
