Source actually doesn't look half bad. Its just that it takes some skill and time to unveil the tricks underneath it's sleeves. Obviously this map doesn't quite reach the maximum capabilities of Source.

the good thing about source engine is: it has good graphics (at all) and its pretty easy to run on most computers

They sort of are, they update it alot, so basically the one used for l4d is a lot better than the one for hl2.

sadly the l4d(2) engine has been modefied to run as good as possible on a zombie multiplayer game. but it cant be used for the next episode of hl because they optimised it to much for that kind of game. im hoping ep3 takes so long because they create a new engine. that would be awsome.

hmm i cant seem to play this mod. when i launch it, it tells me to install hl2 ep2.

since this mod only needs at least 1 orange box game, i alrdy have CS:S, HL2, HL2:DM, n Portal, but i still can't play it.

How do u guys play it with just portal??

This mod wont show in my steam games tab. I can load the map in portal by moving the map and textures but it's not as good as if I could run the map in the mod.

either this is a "looks like that other game"-map (which is always cool) but unplayable since the distances and heights are made for the parkour gameplay,

OR you want to recreate the whole level or even game in source engine, which would be a waste of time because 1. the game already exists and 2. EA would shut you down anyway.

but if youre doing this to get valve's attention, maybe it works.

Just play with Gmod. Through the use of various addons and a few source commands you can make the level playable.

hey guys, i've downloaded the mod and it's a .rar file... i know what to do with .zip files and .exe files... but when i open this '.rar' file it looks... well i have no clue what to do with it... to me i only see stuff in a notepad... please help (by a reply)
