Nice belt. Yeah, after I started wearing gun belts, I realized how really flimsy most regular belts are. There are plenty of good American made gun leather and gun belt makers. The price on this one is awesome. The last belt I bought was from Wild Bills Holsters out of NC, its a nice belt but costs $30 more then this one. One thing to remember is that if you are going to use an inside the waistband holster you need to get a belt that is about 4 inches bigger then you would normally use.

Forgot to mention . . . what's up with our belt shrinking? I pulled an old fire department belt out of the storage locker a few weeks ago . . . lo and behold it didn't fit. Clearly it had shrunk although the mechanism is unclear. I had it wrapped in paper away from sunlight and moisture. Perhaps the paper wasn't "acid free archival paper". I am sure that was the problem!

Back in the day when I was in uniform I wore a Sam Brown duty belt rig with keepers. There were guys who didn't and they were always getting hung up on the steering wheel or a fence. It's been hard finding good sturdy belts (except from the Amish, they make great leather goods).

been looking for a good belt, bullhide to boot! Problem is they raised the price, it's now "on sale" for $58, $63 for 54"<, not terrible, just not as good a deal as $39, too bad

Nice belt. Yeah, after I started wearing gun belts, I realized how really flimsy most regular belts are. There are plenty of good American made gun leather and gun belt makers. The price on this one is awesome. The last belt I bought was from Wild Bills Holsters out of NC, its a nice belt but costs $30 more then this one. One thing to remember is that if you are going to use an inside the waistband holster you need to get a belt that is about 4 inches bigger then you would normally use.

haha 32? man we wear the same size and i turn 15 next week then again i am 5'9" so i'm prolly about done growing... man i'm dyin for that 6' mark but i figure i'll end up stoppin at 5'11" like my dad did

Forgot to mention . . . what's up with our belt shrinking? I pulled an old fire department belt out of the storage locker a few weeks ago . . . lo and behold it didn't fit. Clearly it had shrunk although the mechanism is unclear. I had it wrapped in paper away from sunlight and moisture. Perhaps the paper wasn't "acid free archival paper". I am sure that was the problem!

Gun or no gun (no gun in the People's Republic of Kanada :( ), that is one of those belts you can give to your son when you're too old and fat to wear it ;) I had one like that from my dad - his army belt, and I thought it was the coolest thing on Earth. And it was not nearly as nice as these! Cool vid as always.

You are right sir, the belt is another part weapon system.
Back in the day, I wore Sam Browne gun belt with keepers.
If you didn't have it cinched down good, flop and move, you could get caught up in the steering wheel or a fence (back when I could jump fences).
Looks like a excellent belt and as usual a excellent video.

He sootch, check out spec ops brand. They have both a nylon bdu belt and a riggers belt on clearance. I just bought them. bdu is $10 and the riggers is $23. I also wanted to say thanks for turning me onto LAPG. I have bought a ton of stuff off their clearance section.

Hi Don! I love the country humor! I've had more than my share of hickory switches,leather belt's,and short bull whip's.... Now day's kid's say they will call social service's if you even talk wrong to them! LOL! I tool leather man. That .250" bull leather is some serious hide! The stitched leather belt you have shown is really a l0^Oker! Would love to have to Colt revolver's on that one!

You are right sir, the belt is a over looked detail in your weapon system.
Back in the day when I was in uniform I wore a Sam Brown duty belt rig with keepers. There were guys who didn't and they were always getting hung up on the steering wheel or a fence. It's been hard finding good sturdy belts (except from the Amish, they make great leather goods).

The Arizona Senate has approved legislation that would make Arizona the third state allowing people to carry concealed weapons without a permit.
The Senate approved the measure on a 20-10 vote Monday. The House delayed a planned vote.
The legislation would make it legal for any U.S. citizen 21 or older to carry a concealed weapon in Arizona without the permit now required.
If this passes, I'm moving to Arizona, to hangout with McCain. Thanks for the video.

HAHAHAHAHA, my dad would have still found a way to break that damn thing off on me. People always over look the belt. Without a good belt the best gun and holster can be useless. I'll be gett'n one soon. As much as I carry I break in belts w/ a quickness. 5*****'s Sootch keep'm coming.
