!WOW! im part Cherokee im a Medicine Man i call myself(The Medicine Kid) cuz im 11 & this is just wierd cuz i can see thermal energy & predict stuff & sometimes see orbs i think i cant control it very well or is it just part of the process? my mom is a healer 2 + im autistic a lil & i have asthma :( & i think i aint normal i dont know :(]
I am not Native American ancestry but I have trouble figuring out why were the Native Americans forced to move. What is on their land belongs to them period.
We the Cherokees in Arkansas are also living according to our ancestors ways. We do not need any form of Govenment to tell us who we are, it has been told to us for generations. You did a wonderful job on this video. Do Na Da Go Hv I O Gi NA lI
Great Video-- I am a Cherokee from VA - tribal member of Southern Cherokee Nation of KY. One day we will all gather and live as our ancestors. I'm looking forward to that day.
Many of the people in the video remind me of people in my mother's family. They were from Tennessee, a mix of Scotch-Irish and Cherokee. Thank you for posting this!
I think that is the point, mcmj68. The Cherokee are still here, but many of them are now part Scots-Irish, part African, part German, part English. "They look like hill billies" because those were the ones who remained behind. This video said "watch the complete vid" and i almost didn't, because the music is not my style -- but at the end, there was a name i recognized -- NUNLEY -- on a grave; a name in my husband's family, from McMinnville, TN. Just "hill billies" -- and Cherokees.
Thank you very much for watching the whole video. The music was chosen for the young .. I want them to stay for a minute and listen too.. and it has to have a hook! :) I'm glad you hung on.
The couple at the very end.. are my parents, Sandy and Ezra NUNLEY. The last gravestone is my father, Ezra "Bud" Nunley.
I love your video! My ancestors trace back to John Rockhouse Sizemore. I plan to tell our stories through video's as well. My husband is a descendant of the Chief of the tribe in Cherokee, NC. Long live Tsalagi People!
Sister Tami sent me this site. You both have done a great honor to all Native Americans and your people. I'm proud of both of your achievements...but my Sister sure should try to get hers into a movie, documentary, or awards video..Blessings.
