I wonder what happened to all those splendid models used in the Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and Stingray. They are worthy of a museum or exhibition. Gerry Anderson was a great modelmaker.

@charyinvic Not quite, solenoids were located in the marionette's heads and are triggered electrically by the actor's voices. One of the strings was a power line for the solenoid and for a pivotal device for eye movements, these two devices gave the marionettes more realism.
