  • You have my interest. Seriously thinking of investing in your company. I will be in contact with you. Would like to test product before making a serious investment.

  • Random question but what's the difference between pearl and natural?

  • @RCMINI111

As for pearl, it's typically a hi-gloss (polished, over 1200grit), swirled and/or multi-color finish. As for "natural", the old definition would be for a dull-finished ball...now, thanks to Storm, their "Natural" bowling ball has a urethane coverstock instead of reactive resin.

  • Just bear in mind when I say "finish", I mean the coverstock's final polish grade. You can take a pearl ball and sand it down, or take (most) dull balls and polish them.

  • wow can u inform me about the ball lay outs and how to make my own bowling ball

  • any ball will hook when you throw with no fingers in the ball

  • @originalzorch

Actually, if you'd watch my other video, it compares my ball to popular brand-name balls, head-to-head...and features conventional grip bowlers. Please watch it, then post what you think.

  • 2nd comment but Damn everytime I watch this video makes me want the ball more!!!!! Haha I'll buy one off of you just like that lol

  • completely awsome dude!.....it wud be great if u cud design more outstanding outlook for me....:) do inform me coz i'm definitely buying it from u....!

  • @muhammedhazril

Thanks for the compliments and enthusiasm! I'll be sure & let you know if & when it hits the market!

  • What are the RG and Diff numbers before drilling?

  • @gamemeister27

All I will post publicly is that the Average RG is in the lower range of the USBC limits, and the Differential is VERY near the high USBC limit. But, the key to my ball's reaction is achieving tremendous flare.

I hope you understand me not being forthcoming with the exact numbers...unfortunately, the way things work overseas, if I listed the specifics, they could exactly copy my design by scaling the video and then making a compound to synthesize the final RG/Diff numbers.

  • @Vigilantebowling Great looking ball.....do you have deep finger holes or balance hole? I would imagine it would be one mutha of a crater missing out the side unless the fingers are deep.

  • @theschoolnurse1

Actually, that's the beauty of it....there's no balance hole used in the ball shown in the video...nor are my fingers excessively deep (1-1/2"...just enough to fit finger inserts). The Pin is 1-3/4" above the CG at a 12 O'Clock relation (The CG is 1/2" up and 1" right of my grip centerline), and the Mass-Bias is slightly below and to the right side of the thumb hole.

  • Man it looks WICKED!!! If you start selling it Let me know!!!!! I suck at bowling :( lol

  • @21EdHardy

Thanks for your compliments and interest! Believe me, if this ball makes it to market, EVERYONE who has posted and has subscribed to me will know!!!!

  • wow now that is a lot of hook was it fresh oil you where bowling on? THS? if you get it release i will post it on my site all ten back dot com

  • @whatexitvideo

Yes, on both videos so far, it has been a fresh, med to heavy volume THS. My house typically oils from 35-42'. Keep coming back, though! My next video will feature the Hitman taking on the PBA Shark and Scorpion patterns!

  • i would most definaltey buy this ball :) msg me if this ball is released!

  • Make sure you post on my channel when this ball is available, I'm very interested

  • nice i think its pretty cool you built your own bowling ball dont let guys that are jealous ruin your confidence and keep working on this

  • @jarvin007

Thanks very much for your compliments! Don't worry, I had people laughing up their sleeves, and poking fun at me from the beginning of this project. However, once I rolled the proof down the lane, most have become very enthusiastic about it. I've never been one to worry too much about naysayers. I'll keep on rolling! Thanks again!

  • I am a bowler for many years and I have seen a lot of strong bowling balls like the virtual gravity and hammer products like the infection and the plague. But this look amazing! If u happen to get it on the market, u have my vote. I'll be the first one to buy it.

  • @dshutovich

Thank you very much for your compliments! I'm really hoping and looking forward to the release of this ball. Keep your fingers crossed, it MAY happen!

  • Good luck with your ball, looks good.

Just so you know, static weights really dont affect ball reaction that much, see USBC ball motion study.

If I were marketing the ball, I'd probably focus on the important pieces.

Surface Roughness or Coverstock Type, Total Differential, Intermediate Differential, RG. Core looks unique, best of luck!

  • @MegaMavX

Thanks for the compliments! As to the USBC Ball Motion Study...there's no arguing with physics. I agree that the static weight of the ball does not cause much physical movement itself. However, if the static weight configuration causes the ball to flare wider and further than any other ball, then you are exposing more "dry" surface areas to the lane, thus giving it more reaction potential.

  • @Vigilantebowling Static weight doesnt have any effect on track flare, position of the narrow point or angularity of the ball. If you dont believe me, see the Brunswick video uploaded on my account.

  • Man, if only I had the money to custom make one of my designs. I myself spend time making different visual effects, but since I'm not overly familiar with the different core types, i haven't taken the time to make a core design. Awesome inspiration!

  • @ZeroTuck

Thanks very much for your positive post. Yes, cashflow is definitely my biggest roadblock as well. I wish you the best of luck with all your endeavors!

  • I honestly can't see this making it any further than any other person who would try this. This ball doesn't hook near as much as say a Hammer Taboo. Also, the bowlers you got to throw it obviously aren't very experienced and didn't even hit the same mark twice in a row during the video. I believe it might be a good thing to keep for yourself, but getting it into the mainstream might just be a little too difficult.

  • @XbaWceHaWgX

-A Hammer Taboo, huh? Challenge accepted! I'll ask around my alley to see if I can get one thrown head-to-head against mine.

-So, what you're saying is that you WANT a ball you have to hit the same exact board with each time to get a strike?!?!

-Say what you like about my bowling, but Jason C. is a pro bowler. I had him trying different lines to see how the ball reacted to different shots.

  • wow this is really cool! making your own bowling ball

  • @jxchua554

Thanks very much for your positive post! I really appreciate it!

  • I don't use my thumb either, but i'm two-handed. When and will this ball be available around if you could estimate? I'd like to get one sometime when i could probably get the cash. My dad might also be interested in it so when i go to his house in a week i'll show him or probably just post it on Facebook.

  • @MurderousPandas

Hi, and thanks for your comments and interest. Please bear in mind that this ball is in its infancy as far as mass-production and public availability goes. Although I have already invested a lot of time and money personally on its development and testing, it still has to be "picked up" by a mainstream company and added to their line, or investors will have to step-up to bank a production run. I'll be sure and let you know when they're available for purchase.

  • It appears that you dont use your thumb ? Have you tried that way so that you dont come around the ball so much ?

Would say that you are probably more of an " area" bowler due to the way you release the ball ( no thumb ).

  • @riley804

Yes, you're correct...I was not using my thumb while bowling in the video, but, I am actually a pretty versatile bowler because I can bowl 2 finger or regular, left or right handed. I typically pick up my right side spares w/ thumb in, and if the shot is dry, I'll roll my strike shot with it as well. However, carpal-tunnel prevents me from putting a lot of turn on the ball with my thumb in, so, for a power shot, I must bowl with 2 fingers. Thanks for your interest and questions.

  • Might help to wear bowling shoes... but still pretty sweet to make your own bowling ball.

  • @happygilmore06

Ha Ha!....I was waiting for someone to notice....good observation! Yes, I've always been "jabbed" at for wearing tennis shoes when I bowl. The reason I do this is because sliding is one of many variables in bowling which can change from shot-to-shot, but it's a variable which I can legally remove from my game.

Thanks very much for your positive post on the ball, though! I appreciate it!

  • wow, that thing looks amazing!!! i'd definitely be interested in buying one. if you wanted to send me one, i could make a ball review of it and get it a lot of publicity

  • @guffnuh

Thanks very much for your positive post! Excitement like yours is what gets a grass-roots venture rolling! Please refer your friends, too!
