  • this layout is the most realistic one i have seen since John allen wish you were my neighbor just love it cant stop watching the videos

  • Great !!! I love black locomotive's running long hood forward !!!

  • Wonderful layout! The detailing is outstanding!

  • Outstanding model and video work. I like the run through set up

  • awesome video dude! love the swtiching and runby action!

  • Greetings Jon I gather you are a Brit I was curious how you got turned on to American railroads as a modeling focus I like the new vid BTW I model New England got any of that stuff??

  • Awesome video as always :)

Love your layout, I am enviouse.

  • That is some great action shots! First rate layout you have there. Tell me, is the layout a end to end or is a lap type layout?

  • @stagmie The layout is 20ft long, of which 12ft is sceniced and the rest consists of 2 x 4ft fiddle yards, one at either end. I'm a big fan of end-to-end layouts, rather than roundy-roundy

  • Fluid-head tripod?

  • @rwundrock No, beer mat to steady the camera :)

  • JOHNNY GRANT! WHAT UP!!

  • @MonsterRailroad Hello Al, Wazzap!! As you can see, I've been working my socks off getting the scenery on the layout finished for an exhibition in a few months time. Now to work on the locos and freight cars. There's an awful lot of graffiti to get done.

How's the UP layout coming on, mate?

    Jon

  • nice run- bys

  • Very cool. Is this scene part of a layout or is it all on its own?

  • @MrFarmer1992 Sweerhome Alabama is a 12ft long short layout with a 4ft 'fiddle yard' on each end. Therefore the overall run is 16ft for a 4ft-long train
