  • I love this Star Warsmovie and everything about Star Wars is awesome and epic ! :) Kamino was such a great planet and Geonosis and when you saw the creation of the Clonearmy :) . Count Dooku and Jango Fett were awesome villains :)

  • @1:38 Sounds an awful lot like Saruman in The Fellowship of the Ring.

  • i cant believe this was 10 years ago...

  • I wanna a see a series based on Obi Wan's adventure between episodes2-3.

  • @alm760 the clone wars cgi series on cartoon network

  • the last three were the best ones

  • Pixel Wars : Attack of the 8-bits

  • fucking 240 p

  • Looking at this trailer shows how bad this film @a bad cartoon@

  • I love these movies and I always will!

  • This had a good story with very bland dialogue and bad acting. And Anakin was far too whiny.

  • This film was awesome just for Yoda's epic lightsaber skillz. :D

  • the only good prequal

  • when u saw the clones first what did u think they would be come 30 years in the future "star wars time"

  • dammit I havent seen all of them, or i think soo, but I don`t remember them:_S

  • Attack of the Clones is much better than Phantom Menace is

  • 2 and 3 were terrible

  • mandalorins vs jedi vs the empire EPIC

  • If they make an episode 7, it should either take place in the far past, or in the far future...and there should be more Mandalorians. They get no love in the movie series.

  • I still think the clones should have been Jedi. EPIC

  • Personally I would have made a Clone Army of Padme's. Freakin Sausage fest, no wonder the Galaxy went to pot after that.

  • @Paigeshusband Her handmaiden Dormé (played by Rose Byrne, who recently starred in Insidious *wink*) is pretty hot, too!

  • Es el mejor trailer de todas las pelis de Star Wars que salieron

  • Es el trailer que mas me gusto de todas las pelis de Star Wars que salieron

  • I will defend these prequels, i thought they were great movies and i love anything Star Wars

  • @Johnlindsey289 Same here.

  • @Johnlindsey289

I wouldn't say I love EVERYTHING Star Wars, there's some Expanded Universe material I find very questionable, and the Holiday Special is iredeemable, but I too have been a long time defender of the Prequel Trilogy and always will be.

  • The prequals aren't the worst movies in the world, but many agree they could have been done a lot better.

  • bloody hell, what is with u people? the prequels were AWESOME! the originals were probably good for their time but the IV and VI were bloody children films. the V one was awesome and better than the Ist one but the prequels were waaaay better. better lightsaber fights, darker story, better love story, and just genrally the prequels were awesome!!!! i know i have just started a flame war but BRING IT!

  • The prequels suck sweaty, hairy gorilla balls.

  • I mostly love the beginning of the clone war, the battle of geonosis and anakin, obiwan, & yoda vs dooku

  • I really wish jango never died! so he could stay and train the clones.

  • NAMELOC2012@ YOU SHUT THE HELL UP THE STAR WARS MOVIES IS THE BEST THING THAT WAS EVER MADE

  • And I thought Episode I was bad...

  • i love how George went back to tell the story of Anikin and who and why he is Darth Vader. Love the Star Wars movies..

  • this movie is also great, fuck you haters!

  • Star Wars Episode 2- The "Batman and Robin" of The Entire Series

  • Star Wars Episode VII:?????

  • @quasaonk "And the story after" No I wouldn't like to see a VII... Well, yeah I would like another Star Wars movie. But I think George should stop until it gets any worse. (Just a personal opinion)

  • @Chichiri24 Me personally? I would love to see a film about the shadows of the empire.

Leia becomes a jedi eventually, Luke reinstates the jedi order, Han's kids grow up, and of course we get to see Chewbacca sacrifice himself to save Han's kid. It would be a hell of a lot better than "oh no, my mom's dead. someone must pay. why not kill children while im at it? "

  • @Chichiri24 The new trilogy is pure crap, sorry. In fact, when I watched Ep.II-Clone Wars, I had some hope. That movie seemed to move towards the original trilogy: The seriousness of disagreement with the death or her mother, as a source of hatred and energy to the Dark Side. However, Ep.III proved a great failure underestimating the intelligence of fans. Unfortunately, EpV.Empire Strikes Back, is a masterpiece for sure, Followed by Ep.IV, and Ep.VI Ep.II (I prefer to forget and Ep.I Ep.III).

  • @Chichiri24 If you were to let Christopher Nolan direct Star Wars, he would probably make it as awesome as he made Batman!

  • @Chichiri24 I think I recall George saying in an interview he dosn't want the films to go beyond Darth Vader so I guess it all ends in Return of The Jedi in his view.

  • @quasaonk Actually, he is looking for ideas to make another 3 movies.

  • @CyferOlitaire15 No he's not, unfortunately...On numerous occasions he's denied any claim to continue making any more MOVIES, at least in That series. At THIS point in time right now, it almost wouldn't make sense anymore. Besides, the Star Wars expanded universe novels taking place before, in between, and well AFTER the six movies have already been out for some time now. Try shadows of mindor, takes place RIGHT after the events of ROTJ.

  • I love the prequels and I'm not afraid to say it! :) Every movie has it's flaws, but I think that people freak out about the prequeals to much just because it's star wars. If episode two hadn't been a star wars movie, it would have been a cool sci-fi/romance/action flick.

  • Horrible movie.

  • @adobepoopscript If it 's so, then all star wars saga is horrible.

  • You guys have no idea how cool this trailer looks on the big screen when you're only 11 years old O.O

  • @Superflykid2008

    I do!

  • Nice trailer,miss Star wars movies :(

  • don't give a fuck what anybody say's I LOVE ALL STARWARS MOVIES!!

  • this is the worst of all 6 movies

  • @crazydave210 I agree, but I still don't think this is a bad movie.

  • one of the most epic trailers ive ever seen. too bad the actual movie didnt meet up to how great the trailer was. but the movie wasnt a total loss, it was entertaining, to say the least..

  • Another fail by lucas, he ruined all 3 of the new star wars movies.

  • @chestyfalla you're a fail.

  • Stop hiding behind the name 'TheSlovenc123' Jar Jar Binx...

No one's going to remember you're computer generated flappy ears, stupid voice or cheesy lines.

  • @chestyfalla umm.. hahaha?

  • @chestyfalla For a minority included you

  • @95928225 is that you george lucas?

i thought you would have at least taken the name TK421

search red letter media and learn something about movies phone number dude

  • @chestyfalla Yeah. Red Letter Media. He's played you like a harp from hell. I guess you consider STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT (considered the second best ST movie ever made by....everyone) as a horrible movie, also?

  • Jango fett...smh

  • 0:40 i hate when he commits suiced

  • OBI WAN THE GREATEST HERO OF THEM ALL !!!

  • The post below me must be trolling. The romance is the best since the last episode of saved by the bell. The political scenes were weak and absurd *jar jar essentially overthrows democracy*. The action wasn't breathtaking, but cgi cartoon overload. Anyone who sees this movie as anything more than a special effects demo set in the star wars universe needs to get a grip on reality. Jorge screwed us, accept it.

  • @thepatient08 Nope. Won't accept it. Now what? Fist waving? Hard language? I liked all 6 films. Accept it.

  • episode 1 shit. episode 2 mega shit. episode 3 ultra shit. thats my opinion.

  • @vreeland17 idiot

  • Why is it called "The Clone War?" Why not, the robot war? Or how about something more historically accurate like...the seperatist war? Just like the whole prequel trilogy...it makes no sense...and makes little attempt to justify itself.

  • @xraycat30 They had to call it "The Clone Wars" because Luke made a passing reference to his father fighting in them in the original movie.

What should have been done was not change the name, but come up with a scenario that fit the name better.

  • @MoonIMover I know that....but the word, "clone" did not have to literally mean a clone. It could have referenced a system called "Clone" or "Klone" or something like that. It could have referenced a tendency of systems to break away from the republic and make some kind of new system of governence. There were tons of options...Lucas is just a shit writer who didn't give a crap about the nonsenseical nature of his product.

  • @xraycat30 I agree.

The original trilogy (and Indiana Jones. And THX) worked well because they played to Lucas's strengths as a director (special effects, atmosphere, action, imaginative scenarios)

The originals were a straightforward adventure. With the prequals, Lucas tried to tell a much more complicated and nuanced story, and failed because he never was a good writer.

I think the prequals could have been great if he'd hired someone else to write the script.

  • @MoonIMover 100% agreement. He should have hired good writers who know how to tell a deep and involved back story. I also think he should have hired a director as well. I think that his ego is what stopped him from doing those things and ultimately, he tarnished his own masterpiece and legacy forever. Know matter how much money he's made, it's gotta hurt on some level knowing how much we real fans hated his prequels. Did you watch the RedLetterMedia reviews? They are so vindicating.

  • @xraycat30 "How much we real fans"? REAL FANS? LOL!!!!!! And Red Letter Media is a joke! He did the same reviews on other good movies pointing out their faults the same way - that no one bothered watching, because it's oh so hip to belong to something as important as prequal bashing. In other words, he played all you Red Letter Media acolytes like a bunch of mindless sheeple! And, he admited it! lol!!

  • @luis6079 No offense, but if you can't understand why these films are bad and why RLM's points are all valid, then I don't believe you to be capable of understanding an intellectual debate and won't bother to engage in one with you. However, I believe the Fast and The Furious franchise would be a good fit for you. Oh, and be sure to check out the latest Kanye album. He's an incredible artist. lol.

  • @xraycat30 they were horriable movies realy the only good one in my opinion is episode 4. 5 is ok and 6 that shows signs of lucas just going senile he also took a big shit on indiana jones by makeing that douchebag shya lebuff how ever you spell it his son i fucking hate that kid

  • @somethingnotdone 5 is definitely the best. 4 was a great opener. 6 was showing the signs of Lucas's lameness at work but still held true to the core idea of what Star Wars was...and this was demonstrated beautifully in the final duel between Luke and Vader. The idea that to take power through force is an evil act only performed by evil people. Vader proves himself to be this but destroys himself in the process. Luke rejects it. So it works. I condemn Indiana 4 as well. A desecration.

  • @SLPIFan You are truelly right the only way people can attack these films stories is ignoring reality!!!!!!

  • great movie, my favorite

  • "Begun this clown war has."

  • when the clones apereared it made me plays star wars battlefront 1

  • BEST STAR WARS MOVIE EV ER!!

  • @LDtheBrachio it is a good movie but episode III is better.

  • @joshua102396 your option, (if you don't like what i say then don't reply, not being rude or anything)

  • Oh, good. More mediocre CRAP!

There is no deeper meaning behind all of these stale crap. There's not a single sensible line of dialogue or reaction or performance from ANYONE in the film.

    The politics are terrible... again.

    The villain are wimpish.... again.

    There is no tension... again.

There is no excitement or fun... again.

Anyone remember the relationship between Han and Leia?? Well, this movie proves that relationship to be an illusion. Hayden and Natalie are AWFUL together.

  • @LukeLovesRose

I know, it's like Lucas was trying to imitate Titanic's romance in these prequels. Lord of the Rings Trilogy are better than these prequels you gotta admit as they have better acting, better written scripts and that sort of thing. There is a better Lucas production than this called The Land Before Time in which he produced, remember that one? at least that had some heart since it was an old-school Lucas/Spielberg production.

  • @Johnlindsey289

And besides there's only one movie worse then these prequels, it's called Bill Cosby's Leonard Part 6, the single worst movie ever made that even Bill Cosby disowned. There's also Lynch's terrible Dune movie and The Garbage Pail Kids movie.

  • @LukeLovesRose Yep. Unfortunately I completely agree.

  • @LukeLovesRose How little you understand of film making to say such things. The relationship between Anakin and Padme was flawlessly worked. I have not seen such beautifully written romance since Shakespeare. Perhaps the politics were too complex for ur feeble intellect? The movie was also filled with breaktaking action. The factory scene alone was better than the lame shit they had in the original trilogy. I realize its hard to top Episode 1, but this movie EXCELLED above it!

  • One of the worst films ever

  • I like how the sounds of Vader breathing are sprinkled throughout the prequel trailers, just to give hints about what it's all leading up to.

  • I love how R2 can fly.

  • @Wildcat425B I love how they retconned why he never does it in the original movies. :D

  • Ok, this is the thing. True Star Wars Fans get the prequels and also know ther was supposed to be 9 movies. The internet nerds as well as the self proclaimed starwars nerds, well all they want to be is heard because they think they know so much of what star wars is supposed to be. This movie was cool. Showed that vader had a heart once...and it compliments what luke felt from him in return of the jedi. Good job new starwars fans. You saw all the movies as they should be. A great story.

  • which is the first song used?

  • I didn´t grew up with the originals but i grew up instead with the prequels, and i think that they have a new charm with a significantly different world, they are good too and they don´t deserve all of that hate, while there are some inconsistences like the fact of the jedi warriors being stronger in the prequels than in the original, they are still great, and fans should be glad.

  • @adrianocounter Of course, for you the "I AM YOUR FATHER" wasn't nearly as dramatic for those of us who saw the original first...for us the reaction as "Oh gosh - you are kidding!!!" Now, everyone will already know when they watch for the first time by the time that scene rolls around (if they watch them in order, Eps. I-VI).

  • @ReuWil Nope, but the seduction of anakin to the dark side was, in fact the firs film i saw of star wars that i fully remember was episode III, for me episode III was dramatic because it showed the fall of the empire.

  • When ever I see episode 1 and 2 I still have no idea what is going on.

  • Star wars ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • why theres this darth vader sound at 2:10 - 2:14 ? I just don't get it. Anakin doesn't transform untill star wars 3.

  • Watch the Star Wars prequels with Rifftrax. You'll laugh your asses off and see the prequels for the shit that they really are

  • @LukeLovesRose you replied this on two videos get over yourself

what you people that watched the original trilogies need to understand is a new version of a trilogy would never be as great as the original trilogy its just plain and simple

but to say the prequel is pure shit is an unfair assumption there were some actual good moments in the prequels that were key to showing anakins transformation into Darth Vader the originals didnt really tell us much the prequels did however

  • @MrUnclepeanuts

Defending these films is like saying that Ed Wood was a misunderstood master.

  • @LukeLovesRose ED WOOD WAS!!!!!

  • @MrUnclepeanuts When a Movie has very wooden dialouge, Characters who never emote (ACTORS who never emote the way their supposed to), and and huge plot holes that means your movie is shit. The only reason why they were even as successful as they were is the pure fact that it is Star Wars something like that is expected to be good regardless. Hence why the Trailer shows the good parts of the movie. The only thng AOTC had going for was Jango Fett, The Clones and the Battle of Geonosis.

  • @CassDaMan1138 everything in life has pros and cons to it just like how I said previously while the original trilogy was really good it didn't really tell us much here is what we got from the original trilogy

Vader was once a jedi then he turned and god redempted.

Han and Leia love each other.[could see that from the beggining]

the Empire is evil[however we didn't know at the time why and how they became evil]

and many other things and Hayden is pretty good for a actor with shitty

  • @MrUnclepeanuts he may be a good actor else where but he was shitty and wooden in this series. Why do you think Lucas never brought him back for any of the other projects that had Anakin. Heck Christensen wanted to do The Clone Wars but Lucas said no.

  • @CassDaMan1138 *continued* maybe people don't like to read? thats pretty stupid of you to say that

thats like saying "I like football so maybe people who don't like football lazy" where the fuck is the logic there?

  • @MrUnclepeanuts if any of these elements were missing from the movie upon release the movie would have been a Flop. The sad part is Natalie Portman is such a good actress...this is one of her most weaker roles. Also Hayden Christensen Sucks as an Actor hands down.

  • @CassDaMan1138 *continued* dialogue

IMO The prequels gave starwars a deeper meaning other then it being another space movie

  • @MrUnclepeanuts yea.......The Books and EU (Expanded Universe) did a MUCH better job than the prequel movies...It's just so many people are too fuckin lazy to go to a Library and read. They are written better they lack as many plot holes they add scenes that would have never been in the movie because of the limitations. Heck if your too lazy to read a book go play Jedi Knight if you want a story set after thr original trilogy. See how the Empire did not go silently into the night after Palp died

  • @CassDaMan1138 lmfao when did I mention EU? I think I was talking about the Original trilogy, honestly though EU was quite predictable,

and erm when will you people get that trashing Hayden for his acting makes no sense what so ever? he doesn't write his own script guess who does? GEORGE LUCAS DOES Lucas himself admitted he is shitty with script writing so like I said before he did good for an actor given a shitty script and "Too lazy to read a book" hmm and unfair assumption

  • @MrUnclepeanuts it seems as though every time I mention the new trilogy some idiot has to scream 'THE OLD ONES WER BETAR' as if to not say so would make him look cheap. I agree with your points

  • @LukeLovesRose We don't need to watc the prequels with "Rifftrax" or anyone else to know our own minds. Thanks.

  • When I saw Ep I in cinema, I wasn't a SW-fan at all and all I thought was "Meh, some nice sci-fi-movie with a confusing story." But three years later, when I saw this trailer on TV, I was like "OMG this is gonna be the best movie ever!" and called my best friend "OMG, did you just see that trailer on TV?!?! There were troopers, walkers, star destoyers, a Fett, droids, Jedi and explosions everwhere!!!" I almost wet my pants :D

  • What was Lucas trying to do with this POS?

Who the fuck is Master Syphidius?? lol. I mean, you don't introduce a name in a movie and then, NOT show the audience who that is.

  • This one is the one that gets things going, yep yep

  • Well, it's entirely possible that the people on Naboo don't live as long. :)

  • What I like from this movie is Jango and Boba, I always wonder how Boba looks when he was a kid

  • By far the worst episode of Star Wars.

  • GO STAR WARS!!!!!!!

  • @bunnyfoofoow Faak Yeah!

  • besides the dialoge between anakin and padame and all those kids in the movie it really wasnt that bad

  • hayden christensen is a terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE actor

  • I just wish we got a whole dark side of the show as in We had the sith (Senator watever) Narrate some of his ideas on how he strategies his whole scheme..hes a genious (the darkest villlains are lol) like how he saw Jar Jar as a key weakness..but alot of people wouldnt like that

  • i'm totally on picknana's side...thats why i can't understand people who say that the new films don't have any plot just action...hello??i guess the political side is too difficult to understand for some people...

  • Star Wars Attack of the Clones is my favorite one

  • Yeah, it's the sarlaac pit tune from Return of the Jedi.

  • @LuthienofDoriath i agree thats crazy

  • isnt anikan to young for padme how ever you spell her name in the first movie hes a kid and shes grown

  • haha perfect scene to end the trailer on. I smiled afterward.

  • Im a fan of these damn cool star wars with their lightsabers

  • My favorite movie in the saga!

  • the movie is so fucking awsome

  • did anybody notice how in the prequel a lightsaber only deflects 4 SHOTS!!! 4! Tht all happened at the same time when luke was trying to escape from jabba the hut. and in the new one? I lost track in the first 15 mins.....just an observation

  • I guess since Luke was still a fledgling Jedi at the time of the original films, he hadn't mastered the ability to deflect shots and just relied on dodging and covering mostly, while in the prequels we had legit Jedi who had been doing this shit since they were toddlers.

  • @videotape1987 Actually it's Anakin. "Anikan" isn't a character. And Anakin wasn't a fledgling Jedi in the original films. He was a Sith Lord. Perhaps a more thorough reading of my comment before replying is in order.

  • Yeah, you're a real moron. Perhaps obtaining a primary education is in order

  • @Sanguiluna what about Vader and Obi wan in the original 3 movies? they sucked at fighting too

  • @Toro953 Yeah, 19 years living in a desert without any sparring partner or combat drills, and being confined to a life support suit will turn even the most phenomenal fighters into noobs over time.

  • @Sanguiluna lol that doesnt explain obi-wan kenobi's horrible fighting skills in the original trilogy

  • @Toro953 Try living in a desert hut by yourself, no fellow Jedi to spar with, no nifty little Jedi Temple training devices to help you. Just you, your sword, lots of sand, and no air conditioning.

Then go up against a Sith Lord who despite being handicapped has been spending the last 19 years training and sharpening his skills against countless Jedi that he's slain. Looking at it from that perspective, Obi-Wan really didn't do so bad, although he was a shadow of the Jedi he once was.

  • @Sanguiluna so vader has spent 19 years slaying the greatest warriors in the galaxy and yet he still swings his sword like a child. dude just admit it, back then they didnt have the technology or stunts that they do in movies now

  • @Toro953 Well yeah that's the real life explanation. But that's not what I was talking about.

  • @Toro953 people are getting older, the older they are they became weaker because of age, plus vader can't move very well because of the !@#$%^^$ suit, and Obi wan has not trained for 19 years

  • @Madin312 Yoda was older than in revenge of the sith than vader and obi wan were in a new hope. he still fought much better than them.

  • @Toro953 well... yoda didn't really have to worried about being hunted, there aren't much visitors in Dagobah

  • @Toro953 well, there aren't much visitors in Dagobah, while Obi wan is still wanted in Tatooine

  • @Madin312 and vader gets to spare against all the stormtroopers right? gimme a break, all he does is sit in his chair and choke random people with his hand.

  • LMAO

  • Judging by your grammar I assume you must be....10 now?

  • I'm 16

  • 1:55, awesome!

  • The peice is from return of the jedi. When they're at the pit of carkoon

  • Does anyone know what soundtrack piece starts playing at 1:50?

  • Sounds like something from Episode VI or this one, episode II, ill see if I can find it...

  • @Chichiri24 It's called "The Forest Battle". It's at the end of the track.

  • "The Forest Battle (concert suite)" from the Return of the Jedi soundtrack.

  • @Ebakthecat I think it's an excerpt of "forest battle" from the RotJ OST

  • @Ebakthecat The piece is called "The Forrest Battle [Concert Suite] " and it's from Return of the Jedi.

  • @Ebakthecat Return of the Jedi soundtrack. "27 Archiveal Bonus Track - The Forrest Battle (Concert Suite)"
