Google was a having their own Wi fi problem during their presentation that summer. There were so many different wifi networks at the same time that it was clogging up the system. Hence why Apple live streams their events now so bloggers would stop using WiFi
@Nivalwolf That's what he probably did, but considering people with mifi connections and other people, there were over 500 networks in the same room! It wasn't that people were using his network, but there were to many networks that "polluted" the air space.
@toujames He could have just used video calling on 4g or 3g. How could 500 connections possibly cause an interruption to one iPhone4's connection requests? How did connection number 500 connect to a service and so forth? Funnily enough, my iPhone is a bastard when it comes to wifi connections and I really really am frustrated about that. When my contract is over, I'm buying a better phone.
@LOLDISNEYLAND What are you talking about?? At&T doesn't have 4G and 3G would be too slow. I have an iPhone, and i never had problems using the wifi because there are only 3 other users using my network. If you also note, other videos of iPhone 4 has had no problems with wifi, just the GDM Antenna
@toujames Sorry I thought the iPhone4 had 4g! My bad, I know not much about the iphone4 yet. I just assumed it had 4g.. that fucking sucks even more that it doesn't have 4g!
@LOLDISNEYLAND Well due to the fact, that it's AT&T, they never had 4g. Find your facts before arguing :D
P.S It doesn't suck, the HTC evo, has 4g with sprint, but 4g is not even available in my area, so its useless right now. so iPhone 4 is still better (for me)
@mellowman1001 Why doesn't he have his own wifi connection? or 4g or 3g for that matter? It's a fairly piss poor keynote if such a simple problem occurred! The iPhone4 simply didn't want to connect via wifi because of a bug. The same damn bug I have with my iPhone. Not to mention the other annoying bugs and lack of features that I need in order to make my business tasks a breeze. iPhone fucking sucks in my opinion and I am a smartphone veteran.
