@JMDMBM I do not try to pretend that this is a true BARF diet, and if you listen carefully you will not hear me try to pretend that it is - merely that it is a natural diet, no cooked or processed food. Whilst a BARF diet is probably the best, I reckon this is a whole lot better than feeding dry or tinned processed food, and my dogs have thrived on it for over 12 years. I am also not that stupid to think that dogs don;t find ground meat in the wild either, or light a fire.
@JMDMBM and nowhere do you see me feeding FRUIT- where the hell did you get that from???? There is nothing wrong feeding green and herbage in the form of vegetables either. Think of wild dogs/wolves ripping open a prey's stomach and eating the contents therein first. Dogs are in any case omnivores, not 100% carniverous. We also still must bear in mind that dogs diets have over thousands of years adapted slowly to a differant diet from the one they would be accustomed to way back then.
@K9TMD I made the comment about fruit to so if anyone else watches your video they will know this is not how to feed BARF. I was giving information for the general public of how to feed barf.
@JMDMBM Then I guess they will want to search "feeding a BARF diet " then not look at how I feed MY dogs, which is what I made the video for, not to pretend I was feeding a BARF diet
Minced meat and veg is not that good for dogs. Research raw meaty bones for what you should be feeding them instead. Dogs are Carnivors and do need veggies, meaty bones are better for teeth and stools. Research research research.!!
so is it all right to feed my pitbull cooked turkey, pork, chicken, or cow meat from the supermarket? Just as long as I don't add any bbq sauce or spices??
wow i didn't know that beef n lamb carried that virus....thanks for the heads up...I still got some more research to do before I do raw at home--I do raw patties...premade...haha
Great vid Andy. We follow the natural diet, it has done our Tm Meesha no harm, she is healthy and fit with a beaut coat.....Oh and you forgot Toby's diet lol.
The BARF diet is 80/10/10.
80% Meat including heart
10% Bone
10% Organ Meat
NO FRUITS/VEGETABLES
Should be fed whole and not ground. Dogs dont find ground meat in the wild.
Your feeding completely wrong.
