2007 was a collapsed but 2008 wasn't a collapsed. mets had 3 games lead 17 to play. anyhthing can happen. didn't phillies have a 11 games lead in the season but mets got the lead after 18 games. whats amazing is mets was able to hold on even though they had the worst bullpin in baseball.

You are right. Yes, it sure did. They were lucky. When the Red Sox were eliminated, it did help them because they had a week lay over. I was happy because I figured that the Phillies had a much better chance against Tampa Bay than Boston. I expected it to be a tougher series during the NLDS. The Mets are improving. I think that they are more of a threat than the last two years. Thanks for your polite response.
