  • Very exciting indeed, the problem is though that hardware is improving at an incredible rate but software just can't keep up, Android 2.3 doesn't even have a GUI Hardware Acceleration, Nokia's Symbian needs a complete UI overhaul, MeeGo is nowhere to be seen.

If Microsoft manages to bring Windows 8 to ARM, and makes it like Motorola Atrix, where when use it it's a mobile UI but when you dock it a full Windows 8 launches... It's going to revolutionize the industry.

  • @Vitruviux "mobile UI but when you dock it a full Windows 8 launches... It's going to revolutionize the industry." that sounds badass.

  • @leicam6 but they wouldn't like that

  • @moneyman10k

actually they would, they just cant because of how intel set up the x86 licences. (cant be transferred in a takeover/buyout)

  • @leicam6

    why?

  • @DasKrabbe So that Nvidia can compete with Intel and AMD in the CPU department. I'd buy an Nvidia CPU. Wouldn't you?

  • @mobius1121992 i would if they are better, i would never buy an amd cpu but i do like intel. however nvidia do not make the cpu, nvidia take cpu's from ARM, put it on a chip, make a gpu for that chip then ship it out in phones and tablets. its the system on a chip aproach. it could be the future of all computers, but at the same time the high end gpu's on windows need to be contained on their own card
