I like the Farm Aid idea - It's a good cause and I really think the small farmer should always be the centerpiont of any Country. The whole independence and hardwork, self sufficient ethic is great. In the 80's in Ireland the small farmer kept the country going. The Economic Boom came in the mid nineties and alot of the small farmers sold out to developers. 2008 the recession is in and already the rise in new small farmers is dramatic.

i would vote dave for president in a heartbeat, except that if he were president then he'd have no time for touring and making music, and that would absolutely break my heart. i think he's got a good balance here, doing what he loves to do, and taking extra time to stick his hands into causes he believes in.

if i'm not mistaken, his parents were already u.s. citizens when he was born. if that is true, then he is still a naturalized citizen of the u.s. even though he was born outside of the country. kinda like if you were on vacation outside of the u.s. and gave birth. your kid would still be a naturalized u.s. citizen. so it depends on his parent's status.....so we can vote for Dave.
