Truly shocking is the presence of sharia courts in the UK. That's betrayal of western values (e.g. same law for everyone). Under a ruling from such a court men are clearly favoured over women.
In my opinion demonstrations advocating the introduction of sharia law ("We are against man-made law") shouldn't be allowed. The UK is not Saudi Arabia, immigrants must acknowledge and accept that (as most do).
The behaviour of many EDL members is inappropriate and not helping their case, though.
