I honestly have no idea. There's no fandubber I know that even asks for permission. No one makes money off fandubs(In fact, I lost money twice while making them XD), so there shouldn't be any suing going on. The worse they can do is take it off youtube but I've never seen any Mew Mew video be taken down due to the video footage.

In the Korean scene for Zakuro, it probably sounds weird when she's doing the Yubikiri thing cuz the Korean version is probably doing the Korean equivalent to the Japanese Yubikiri thing. Not sure though. =/

It's not copying. They have to BUY the rights to dub it. Besides, how to you expect to expand the fanbase if kids can't watch it in their own language. I'm talking CHILDREN, you know, those kids who can't read well yet and need to understand a show in order to watch it.
So it's not a question of copying, the Japanese gives dubbers from other countries every right to make the show in their language because those companies actually have to PAY them to do so.

The Mew Mew's don't sound that different, but Min'u kind of creeped me out and Jae-Huy's voice was a little too deep. Otherwise I thought the rest were pretty good. And the ending theme is cute in Korean. x3

Holy crap!!!!! Masaya is voiced by a dude in Korean! XD Holy crappier: he reminds me of Tsujitani Kouji-kun (Miroku from InuYasha). Kissyu sounds like the English Kisshu, Dren. Tart sounds like Taruto almost exactly.... Pai (Korean) sounds like Pai (Japanese) but also reminds me of Morikawa Toshiyuki-san (Tousen Kaname from Bleach). Every other characters VA is perfect! And the ending is aborable!!!!
All in all, I actually like the Korean dub. Kawaii~!

That's how it's spelt in Korean symbols but it was meant to say Ruby. In episode 35, the Korean dub edited the words that Momoka saw on TV with her in it and they use the English word Ruby to spell her name on the screen.
As I have said to many others(and if you'd read the video description), Berry Berry Mew Mew is just the title of the Korean dub of Tokyo Mew Mew. It has nothing to do with the Tokyo Mew Mew a la Mode manga.

They talked just fine with the mouth movements. The person who posted up the clip for download didn't make sure the audio synced with the video. It's not the dubbers fault.
so there's atleast 3 titles now:tokyo mew mew, mew mew power, and now berry berry mew mew. and i dont hate what 4kids did to tokyo mew mew/mew mew power. i also dont hate what 4kids did to ojamajo doremi/magical doremi. because of those 'unnecessary changes', the original japanese shows got even more popular. jus in english and krean, wile it stays popula rin japanese. 4kids did nothing wrong. they just made shows more popular, thats all, same with whatever korea did to berry berry mew mew.

Oh and for all you who say " 4kids cut out parts) what may seem okay in one country may not be okay in another. Major standard when dubbing, even in games and music.
But most of the stuff that 4Kids cut and edited were not necessary. For example, what sense was there to make episode 12 into episode 1? Why edit Mint/Corina's thoughts of a ballet guy to make it seem like she was thinking of Zakuro/Renee? All that did was make things worst by making kids think that she was a lesbian.
And they show the scene with Ryou/Elliot without a shirt and his pants unzipped. Why cut out the rest of it? He was only drinking water. Heck, why even change the actual plot?
People hate 4kids because they make unnecessary changes and they do not pick good voices. Unlike Fullmetal Alchemist which has pretty close voices and almost no changes to the script. In addition to this, 4kids changes the names of characters which is unnecessary and really disrespectful to the original creators.
i think all mmp's(including english) and all tmm's are good but tokyo mew mew japanese is best!(although i grew up with mew mew power(english) so i like that too but not as much!)

Lots of scenes are cut out. There's other videos I put up called 4Kids Mew Mew edits. You can look at those and you can see lots of stuff that was cut out when 4Kids did the English version. Sure they are there in Japanese but a lot of scenes were cut out, mixed around or edited in the English dub.
That ending was kawaii, so very kawaii... and I think that the Korean dub is a good one! The Korean voice actors sounded alot like the Japanese ones. I think I'll start watching this dub now.....

now THIS is dubbing I like! I thought once: if i were to dub tmm, I would first keep it happening in tokyo, but replace the japanese writing with english so the viewers can read it. This was dubbed very nicely! ^^
whoever voiced Kish reminds me of Romi Park, who's also capable of doing quite deep voices despite being a girl.

The slap sound wasn't edited out. It's just hard to hear due to Mint's grunt and the low audio quality of the episode I downloaded.
And as I said, his name is still pronounced as Kisshu so it wasn't really a change, just an alternate spelling.
Yes, Pai means Pie. The aliens are named after pastries(Quiche, Pie and Tart).
And it's called Voice ACTING, not voice imitation. You can't expect all the voices to sound exactly the same. In the end it's the acting that counts.

i think all mmp's(including english) and all tmm's are good but tokyo mew mew japanese is best!(although i grew up with mew mew power(english) so i like that too but not as much!)

okiee, well, the voices and names both go under language, duhhhh, and there arent any scenes cut out from the shows, ive seen the whole series in japanese, and what there is in English, nothing is cut out, u ppl dont make any sense, dont u get it?!?!?! =P

Lots of scenes are cut out. There's other videos I put up called 4Kids Mew Mew edits. You can look at those and you can see lots of stuff that was cut out when 4Kids did the English version. Sure they are there in Japanese but a lot of scenes were cut out, mixed around or edited in the English dub.

That ending was kawaii, so very kawaii... and I think that the Korean dub is a good one! The Korean voice actors sounded alot like the Japanese ones. I think I'll start watching this dub now.....

now THIS is dubbing I like! I thought once: if i were to dub tmm, I would first keep it happening in tokyo, but replace the japanese writing with english so the viewers can read it. This was dubbed very nicely! ^^

Pudding is SOOOOO cute in just about every language!!! The boys on the other hand only seem to be cute in Japanese ^^; (my opinion at least)
