  • I an a 56 y. o. female who can demonstrate good form and stamina with this technique...just see my freestyle vid and catch my triples with cross plus figure 8s...secret is don't flex so much from the knees but spring from the ankles and use good core control to stay on the spot. I can do 250 in a row without a stop :-) Please watch mine and provide your comments. Now I realize I need to produce a proper vid of just this technique alone. Search "Debra Stefan" to catch my "Extreme Jumprope" vid.

  • This is just all wrong,he is using too much arm,the action comes more from the wrists-shorter circumference of rotation more speed on the rope.His arms need to be tucked closer to his body,they are way too far away & wide thus making the rope shorter & higher to jump.His jumping is lacking control & consistancy,i wud suggest he spend sometime learning how to jump on the spot correctly first. as for using a ring for skipping in...my coach would explode if he saw us do that.. Respect the Ring!

  • i can do those for as long as i can untill i get tired and then go back to normal skipping. but i have done them for up to 3 minutes without messing up. part of my muay thai training. look up muay thai if u dont know what it is

  • Very good exercise.  Keep it going Shawn, you can do it for 30 secondes in one mounth if you practice 4 time every weeks.

  • Sorry, but this was a poor demo. To properly do a double, you should work on using a more explosive pushoff and NOT KICKING YOUR FEET BACK
