maybe, try letting the stars follow you and not touch them, so you complete the level with all the stars on screen.

I don't think that's possible, considering they completely surround you and fall downward on top of you instantly.

that probably wasnt it... he might have put to many sprites on one screen, that would freeze it. he may just want to throw that level out and put a diffrent one there if he cant fix it.
