to be honestt i'd ratherr listen to japanese voices when playing, even though i wont be able to understand....i think jap voices bring more drama...and sadness...where english voices r jus too plain....
I own every single Final Fantasy made, except for Final Fantasy XIII for PS3, since I do not have a PS3. It's sad really, I always feared the day that I wouldn't be buying RPG's anymore and yet, I feel a slight comfort from it all because I've went from being a hardcore gamer, to creating the games myself. It's an awesome power to build worlds from nothing into something.
Square Enix its the same enterprise as Square, Square buy Enix Corporation, and make fusion, and became "Square Enix" in 1 april of 2003, that's why after that date the Final Fantasy X copy's say square Enix, and not only Squaresoft, thats why some people have Final Fantasy X saying Squaresoft and another's have Square Enix... i dont know why people say last game from Square! Square dont finish, still the same! and by the way X-2 worst Final fantasy ever lol kill the ffx story... bahh
@SpazBunnyStudios ironicly people still use square to refer to the, enix kinda got fucked over by merging with tem in terms of people knowing about them :P
@XuRg3oN Actually, those who say Square went downhill should realize that they were going downhill BEFORE the merger. That's when they began to release some mediocre projects. Right around the time Yoichi Wada became CEO. Don't blame Enix, blame this guy.

Before 2001 they were known as SquareSoft, but then that year that merged with Enix, creating Square Enix. They used 'Square' as short.

Final Fantasy X was the last FF from Square. You'll notice on the regular (and non-Greatest hits) one that it says "Square Soft."
