I'll be the cynic here. The problem with guys who have old-fashioned, chivalrous ideas is that they have old-fashioned, chivalrous ideas. It's sweet when they open doors for you or pull out a chair and do things like that. However, it could also mean he believes things like his opinion is more important than yours or he knows better than you or your duty is to accomodate him.
I worried about that 2 but from talking 2 him it doesn't seem to b the case. He's done some very sweet things 4 me already and he's always asking my opinion on things and what I think about situations. I figure if he didn't value my opinion he wouldn't b the type 2 ask me 4 it.. But if I were 2 fall in love with him then accomodating him wouldn't b a problem as long as he did the same 4 me. I think that's a big part of love, making each other happy and their lives easier when u can

but do you think it makes you vulnerable to being hurt? would you be safer as a femme fatale? questions i ask myself how do you protect yourself working in the sex industry? that must be difficult protecting your self esteem

The rewards are well worth the risks in my mind. I have played the opposite role before where I would lead men on to get what I wanted from them and then leave them once I sucked them dry. But it's not something I enjoyed. I mostly did it as a response to being hurt myself so my theory was eye for an eye...
But those days are long gone now. Working in the adult ent. industry isn't much different than a regular job. It's just looked at as taboo. Some girls get caught up in the money and exposure and take it too far but as long as you keep a cool head and your morals in check then you can excel but still stay sane and safe. As far as my self esteem, I know how I feel about myself and to me that is the only thing that matters in my life. Anyone elses opinion about how I live my life is...

I guess I have just learned not to care so much as to what other people think about me because if they don't like me then they have the choice to not be around me. I'm not one of those pushy people who forces myself on others just to get a rise out of them and push the envelope but I bet I could be one of those people and never get hurt because I have very thick skin. Gentlemen generally walk on the curbside of a walkway. In the days of horse and buggy he would protect her dress from what was in the street. When you're with a gentleman you stop before the door and let him open it for you. Your hands would not touch the handle. Quite frankly your hands would be gloved just in case you did touch a railing or some such!
Yes we are going to try and see each other again this weekend, depending on the weather from the tropical storm that will be hitting Florida this weekend. If it doesn't work this weekend then we'll try again next weekend. I see my mom and step-father every day pretty much because we live in the same house. The rest of my family lives quite far away so with money being tight I don't get to make trips up to Michigan often. But I try at least once a year to get up there.
