  • hey man i bought jb's but humbuckers the neck sounds great but the bridge sounds a little thin and weak but it think it because the height from the strings is to far what do you think?

  • thanks for making this. I just ordered one for my strat. Did you decide if you like it or not? I've tried the super distortion S before, and it's pretty good. if you still find this one has a weak output, i'd suggest getting a super distortion S and putting your tone zone in the neck position.

  • So fender uses the tone zone in a hss model. Because i have the tone zone humbucker i hope i still get the jangle in the second switch position

  • @Guitarstring187 nope the 57' hot rod, has a tone zone S just like this one

  • Pots weren't swapped, but this strat has the "delta tone" system which bypasses the bridge pot when set to 10. I raised the pickup height after making this video and the difference is night and day - more bite and crunch.

After swapping this in this pickup I realized that Fender actually makes 57' Hot Rod Strat with the same Tone Zone pickup in the bridge position.

  • Did you swapped the pots as well?
