1: he changed the name because he got an updated version of the hack and the creator renamed it.

2: the grapple beam quick kill involves letting him capture you and as he moves around, shooting it into one of the electrified things on the wall, it will do a few energy tanks worth of damage to you, and kill draygon.

I didn't know about the grapple beam trick until years after I played this game the first time. I still prefer fighting it proper, because its more satisfying. Especially when you have enough missiles to just plow through it.

Speaking of which, I don't think I've ever beaten Ridley with any missiles or super missiles left. And thats as it should be.
