this is one of my earliest amvs though.. check out my path of sorrow 2 or Ursa minor amvs and you'll see a huge improvement :)

Yeah, feelt it too, changed some with the text and the "rampage -version" of ichigo in the beginning. He wasn't badass enough in the first version.

Most of the time I dont like the coloring in animes, they are always to lighthearted.

However another amv of mine has alot less effects "Friends of Bleach" where I feelt it wouldn't suit the song. - check it out hopefully you'll like that one more :)

like with what noelle said some of the scenes were too long so to me bc of that the synching good have been a little better where those long scenes were. like at 2:00, even though u tried to snych by changing the lighting, im not a fan of when people do that so ppl can use the same scene longer. but thats just me. ^^

i did love the lines (sayings) u had throughout the amv and ur scene choice in general, it really did get the story behind the amv across. so great job. :)

It's just that there's a few moments in bleach that I find the animation brilliant so I always try to add those scenes in for some reason, Like when Ichigo protects orihime and if noone has seen the anime before I want to show the arrows or whatever it is comming at her.

But at the same time seeing it from a diffrent perspective it's very predictable and booring I'll try to change it for the next amv

I think the next amv will be a diffrent anime so I dont feel like i'm imposing on previous amv's ground and re-using scenes.

I feel as if 07-ghost could be an alternative alltho that hasn't come that far animewise.. what would you recommend for using? I disslike the animation in naruto/dbz

Deathnote could be a replacement alltho there's no actual fight or love in it.. and the story telling would be rather limited.

I really like the shaking, it definitely fits the style of the song extremely well. The only thing that bothers me with it, is the slight black border around the video that changes throughout the amv. You can easily crop that out though if you would wanted to. That might just be a personal annoyance of mine though. =p

I absolutely love the way you used the soft flashes to sync with the song and the colors and words were perfect for your amv.

Since you have favor the artistic side of amv making more than the technical, there can sometimes be parts that are not as interesting as others. What I mean is the middle of your amv is a lot of really long clips, versus the end where it was perfect. (you switched between Ichigo's thoughts and the fight, so it was more interesting to watch rather than watching a play by play recap of the scene in Bleach with a different soundtrack)

There's nothing wrong with having long scenes (I'm quite fond of how you did it), the only danger is making the viewer feel like they know exactly what is going to happen next and then it does happen that way.

Thanks! :) about the little black border - problem is that if it's not there you dont get the "shakin'" feeling that I tried to pull of as "reiatsu flow" you know those badass scenes where ichigo is flying up next to ukitake and byakuya and the air itself is like "ARGHHH!" I'm trying to create that effect but it's sort of halfway there.

And the long clips, sorry about it I made a few minor changes to them so it would enhance the music abit like 2.05 and 2.09 fit soo nicely to the way the music suddenly dropped a notch, like ichigo loosing focus or so - hence the change of color.

But yeah in overall it could've been abit more unique and diffrent from the anime, I'll try to implent that into the next amv.

Oh, I think I have an idea on how to get there. It probably would need a little tweaking though.

From the media generator, take a solid block clip. And then apply the film effects filter on top. Then chroma key out the black and put it ontop of your clip. You'll probably have to take off the flicker and lighting and you may have to duplicate it and layer it to make the lines bigger, Maybe that will sort of work?
