Thank you so much for this information....you have given me many answers that I have been looking for for a long time....I have argued with doctors because they tell me M.E. is different from CFS and I have said all along that they are the same entity.
@polyamorywhisper I know what you mean poly. There are a lot of 'millytant' M.E.ers who swear blind that M.E. is NOT CFS. I frankly think they're talking bollocks and they do my head in. I agree, however, that M.E. is NOT 'chronic fatigue' or TATT (tired all the time). The key word is 'syndrome' as in a group of symptoms that includes much much more than just fatigue/tiredness (I know that word just doesn't cut it really in M.E.)exhaustion.
Great video. Very professional. However, it is worth noting that when the WHO decided on the classification of CFS (with ME), CFS was defined very differently. Researches since have shown marked differences between the populations selected using the 1988 and 1994 criteria. There is a 97% overlaps between CFS (1994 definition) and neurasthenia. Hence the problems. In short, since ICD-10, the concept of CFS changed.
continued..... Yes I do have FM/'CFS/M.E.' myself!
