  • 65h I'd fold to a 3b unless I had a read.. stacks aren't deep enough to have implied odds sufficient to play it, even in pos, unless you're going to float/bluff a lot post against someone you have a read on.

  • ya I agree- I was playing a lot of hands on the button- and a lot of tables- less interesting of a situation

  • on AhKh preflop: yes you have positional disadvantage, but you have huge hand equity advantage currently, and 3betting pre LESSENS your positional disadvantage by getting more in the pot (or getting a fold). Really easy 3b pf.

Given you just called pf, flop I'd either lead (to b-3b AI), or CR. C-c is one of the poorer options... though against 99, it rly wouldn't have mattered, you were still going to lose. But that's being results oriented

  • looking back today i almost think a LGer 4x raise out of the SB is correct. with a shove of the same flop- but there are many ways to play this hand-

BTW- TY for taking the time to post good hand anayisis, i appreciate that!

  • Raise the Qs9s over the openlimper PF like 80% of the time, limp behind 15%, fold 5%.

On the turn i'd def just shove. 9x is calling a shove every time anyways.

  • ya i think opening the hand is far better playing against the limpers in POS, is better then limp behind and play bingo poker.

  • 33 hand is a cooler. I would make a note on that guy's cbet sizing though.. I'm guessing when he has air he cbets more than 1/3 pot, but when he flopped huge he cbet tiny.

  • your BB/100 is -3? if u cant beat 25nl maybe invest in some Coaching?

  • who would you recommend? whats your exp in how you developed your game?

  • The pocket 3's hand is standard. Don't beat yourself up. I float a flop like that with deuces due the their being very few combos that hit that board at all. Then when you fill up on the turn you've gotta go broke.

With AKs in the SB, you've got the three bet for value here. position or not position it's a very good hand. Then when you flop a flush draw and two overs you're a 60-40 favourite against QQ here, so I'd be check raising huge and trying to get him to put the money in for equity value

  • ya i feel the same way about the 333 's

I pealed hopeing to suck out, was was drawin dead- sucks but that was the risk i ran.

i do tend to try and play AK in a cash game very different then tournament.

TY for your thoughts as always.

  • I love the idea of discussing hands via video on youtube like it's a 2+2 video forum, or something "cool and ballah" like that.

Keep 'em coming. throw in some interesting hands that are to do with getting value from strong made hands in interesting spots against tricky boards.

That stuff is what good poker is all about. Not just about sick hands or "how bad do I run?" themed videos. I kinda want to do some of those, but I'm not really into doing poker commentary anymore. Cool idea, though.

  • TY Jay, Please feel free to make a hand history video of your own. I liked the idea in the 2+2 video fourum as well as Im not one for typing out a long conversation and reading some 14 yearolds repley... who may unfortunatly have played more hand in the last 2 weeks then I have played all year. lol But Ya Ilike the idea as well, these videos have not goten the respoce I'd hoped, I think i need to rename them.
