Any polarizers used on this one (ie the forest scene at 1:36)??? & you seriously ONLY used the 18-55mm IS lens on all of these shots??? Saw you used the 50MM 1.8 in other vids. Looks amazing!
wtf? It's so over for production people. the costs are going to drop by next year to epic levels. It'll be tough to keep a business open unless you are brimming w passion. $900 smackaroos get's you a t2i. Add a slider for a little bit more and you are fucking epic. Add some extra lenses, filters and you are going to stomp. The BS has ended and now we enter into a new era. Actually we already entered we are only seeing the beginning. This stuff looks like 35mm film. don't tell me it doesn't.
Question about the letterbox. So you did an aspect ratio of 16x9 right? Is there any specific letterbox size to it? Coz when I did mine I put a a 2.35 letterbox on a 1080p video. Anyways, I like all of your videos here in youtube and we're getting lots of tips from you. We are getting the sd glidetrack next week and we'll mess around with it. Can't wait:)
@Dod3032 cool! last question. How can u do a jib/rig shots with a glider? I was thinking that 2 guys can pull if off where 1 guy is raising the monopod and the other one is on a step ladder and is doing the panningon the camera. What is your best suggestion? Thank you:)
This is impressive! The picture quality is amazing and I never seen the Igus Slider used so great! Keep up the way you style the pictures. Sorry for my bad english....
wow you're a lefty too? (missed this one before) this was some really nice video and put together really well too. very nice! love the beach and waterfall scenes nice and rich in color and depth. did you use the 50mm lens for any of the darker shots? that's my next purchase but i am trying to figure out what the difference is with the 1.4,1.8, & the 1.8 II, and why is there so much of a price difference between them any help would be very appreciated. as i don't want to buy something useless
Hey i was wondering if you could tell me how to get a flat picture style with the t2i, mine is coming in the mail in a few days and ive been scrambling to learn how to do all of this, greatly appreciated.
@HpProductions07 You go into the Menu and it's on the 3rd or 4th page while in video mode. Go down to the Picture Styles and choose one of the 3 User Def slots, hit the Q button (I THINK) to edit one of these slots. Adjust the settings to what you like and then save it. Then just make sure you shoot in that picture style.
I have a question the color correction at 0:14 is amazing. You show thatare a few times in this video... I was just wondering was it a magic bullet? If it was which one? lol plzzzz
Man, first of all: Awesome! Can you tell me how do you do to make this aspect ratio (for what I´ve heard the aspect ratio of canon t2i is 4:3 and it looks like 2.35:1 to me)
@Dod3032 Question about the letterbox.
@2amcreation It took two of us using the Glidetrack. We stood it up on end using the seat of the picnic table as our surface. I slowly lowered the Glidetrack from standing straight up to being at about a 45 degree angle while Pete moved the housing down the Glidetrack. We did another one of these in the Knik Valley Trailer with the feet sliding off of the cliff. It's one of our favs too btw!
@Dod3032 Yes, just go to youtube . com / partners and apply! this will enable the revenue sharing and also other cool stuff for your channel homepage! such as new visual styling for your channel for easier navigation. it will popup ads in the beginning of your videos thou. btw, where can i get the glidetrack for under $100? i live in canada?
@Dod3032 I'm sure you'll get it! takes a couple of weeks for them to reply btw. so be patient. :D i want to get the T2i, on my Christmas list for myself. better quality video for my channel. If you are interested in computer PC tech, please check it out! cheers!
You shot all of this on a 18-55?? woah. I have been following your videos lately. and i am very impressed. but this video i must say is the most impressive of them all.
But I have the same 550D and the same 18-55 lens. but my footage is alot noisy at low light. and plus the footage isnt this great as wat i am seeing here. any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated. :)
holy shit you guys are amazingg and thanks soo much for the tips i just got my T2i and im using the techniques your showing but i want to know where i can get a Glide dolly like you guys have..
I'm having problems to edit my t2i videos on Vegas 9.0, when i try to play it plays 1 sec and stop. what's your PC system config? Processor, memory and video card. thanks in advance and congractulations! i'm your fan Daniel!
Your camera work is fantastic, can you share some of the settings you used with magic bullet mojo, i know every shot is different, but a tip on what to adjust would be great!
@sye005 Yeah, just make a Custom one in the menu. Set Contrast and Sharpness all the way down (-7 I think) and then leave the other setting at their default (0).
Wow !!!!!!!! Its cool , what Picture style do you shoot with T2i ???? even am having d same camera but my Videos never got look like your videos !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@SillyFokkerRC To a degree...but not really. I mean, you can zoom in and then pan the shot like you would a photo, which I do sometimes, but it really doesn't come close to capturing the "glide" look.
I bought my Rebel just last week and also the Canon 50mm f1.8.
Me and my crew have shot two shorts with it so far, of which one was finished in post today. It looks really great, but this seems to look just a little "greatier"...
