I bought a 2003 bottle of Utopias in that year. Still haven't opened it as of today. Apparently this stuff will keep for 40 years if left unopened.

It would be awesome to get several different vintages and compare them. I enjoyed some more last night. I wish it was easier to find this stuff, I'd buy some to hold onto...

sweet. i just bought a bottle of utopias 2009 last week for 200 bucks at a local liquor store. It was the only one he can get his hands on and he has a big account. I'm not opening it unless someone pays me, haha. Can someone explain why my bottle is number 13198? By the way the utopias 2009 says 25 percent by volume but i read somewhere that its actually 27...

I have read different percentages also. Sam Adams says it's 25+... All I know is it sure has a kick!

Yes and No. Technically they have the highest alcohol content but they reached that by extracting the water from the beer. If we did the same process to Utopias it would probably be around 70%+... I still want to try it!

actually it isn't the strongest beer in the world. That record belongs to Brew Dogs Tactical Penguin at 32% ABV.

I have been to 2 different restaurants that have had Utopias but they charged around $20 for 2 ounces. That's all you really need anyways! This stuff is potent!
