I was playing on easy, got the hunting rifle and shot her square in the face, she didn't die, and started running towards me, so I shot her a good 5 more times right in the face before she downed me and someone else finished her with a machine gun.

Do I have to get really close to her even with the hunting rifle on easy?

actually, no headshot is needed for the achievement, just go to her (preferrably from behind) and give her a shotgun shot, without ANY of it's bullets missing.With the full force of the gun, anywhere u hit, will instantly kill her

The 10x easier way is to run up and shoot her in the back.

just from experience, on expert, do not try to do it from behind. almost ALWAYS her shoulders get in the way. on advanced you can usually get away with it, and it does not have to be in the face on advanced, if you shoot around the end of her hair you can take her down. I would practice crowning on expert, that way you are sure you can do it on versus.just my two cents.

I find it easier to shoot her in the spine if she is facing away. You kill her before she's even standing so there is less risk too. See my vids.

yeah the easiest is to run in front of her, crouch, then aim above her head, wait for her head to enter your cross hairs, and FIRE away. works with any shotty.....dont try it with the hunting rifle. LOL

I just got the Crowned acheivement. I startled the witch and as she was running toward me I nailed her with one shot.

I got the achievement at one point but it took me a while though. I asked my friend if I was to try to get that do not disturbe would I still get it even if I couldn't sneak around the witch and had to do the crown shot again. Even though I have it, I'm not always good at sneaking around her in some places for other reason. Can any one tell me how to get my team mates to not hit here, except for playing online?
