  • noooooooooo not that terrible imovie music aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

  • so you can take the bike on walk instead of the dog?

  • where can i buy this?

  • @poormansvideo if your gyro bike was cute enough haha

  • gives me a idea for a Gyrocopter lol

  • I think this is a great idea, for those who are less certain or capable on a regular bike. Kudos.

  • BURN HER! SHE IS A WITCH!!!!!

  • how do you steer??

  • haha that guy walking with a bike like with a dog:DD

  • RC this, add a camera, and drive it around the city.

  • @humanidt instant chaos. PWNED!

  • bike hax

  • it isnt hard to ride a bike without hands it is so god damn easy

  • this is several layers of awesome

  • ghost ride the whip!?!?

  • how does it work?

  • @poormansvideo their more in life then sex

  • ROFL . "Hey guys wait till you see my BIKE without the stability control ;-)"

  • how is it made? looks like you just need to mod the front tire with whatever is on it.

  • WOW! this is like the ultimate invention for regularly drunk people ^^

  • i can do this without the gyroscope

  • @maxotromeros Oh yes, you're exactly right. It will require more force to steer but more importantly it will also take a lot more effort to get up to speed, be harder to brake because of the extra mass. I'd be interested to know just how much weight has been added to the front wheel. Also have to think about all that unsprung weight over bumps :) Could be fun.

  • It works because a heavy turning object has a big rotational momentum and thus is harder to change the direction of the velocity...This also means that turning might be a little harder, maybe?

  • good alternative to training wheels.

  • @satoakimartinez Thats a good point

  • stupid

  • This makes pushing your bike a whole lot easier! I'd love to try one of these things, although I can balance a regular bike to < 1mph

  • pretty awesome concept :)

  • bro. thats wikad

  • whats the use for a helmet?

omg that stufs the whole thing up!

  • well this guy is gonna be rich

  • its already invented

  • clearly?

  • Remember kids. Gyro bikes are for life, not Christmas.

  • lol what's fake? Go do your research this thing kicks ass! But I cant help thinking its for noobs who cant ride a bike, y'kno lik those little kids have on either side of their bike! But still its rather coolness xD

  • this is not fake, its just your brain that melted!

  • Okay for the first timer learning to ride a bike, but after that learn to ride no hands. The Fact that anyone thinks this device is at all necessary just shows how many people do not and never did learn to ride a simple bicycle.

  • cool.. but can you lean in to turn?

  • Now we want to see a Gyro unicycle.

  • This mist be fake - never heard of a self stablising bike

  • Now you have, it is completely possible and as we see proven.

  • yes, your right, didnt anyone see those weights on the wheels?(those black squars on the bike wheel)

  • looks like fun. although with a little practice you can ride no handed regardless.

  • IT IS JUST A BIKE -- nothing special

  • VERY COOL.... But I don't recomend high speeds. The gyroscope won't let you turn...

  • lol Walk the bike...lol

  • it'd kill me when trying to jump with that thing, but it'still a good idea

  • why would you want to walk your bike get a dog and call him gyro its not practical

  • Oh cool, now people can talk and text on the mobile phones while biking too. Great.

  • I do that anyway, lol

  • That also means I can ride my bike while drunk and talking and texting...lol

  • @UnoSemper HAHA i do this every time with my normal bike :D

  • Lol, cool. I can ride my bike with no handlebars, no handlebars, noooo handlebars! I bet the bike weighs at least 200 lbs!

  • That is scary :p

  • No this should not be on motorcycles. And not all bicycles. It is a great idea and looks like it is very well done. It would be good for getting kids off of training wheels but not cost efficent.

  • lol, just makes it harder to turn when u want to?

  • This should be on Motorcycles if it isn't on them already.

  • You dont ride motorcyles do you? I do not want anything fighting me trying to go straight in a turn. besides motorcycles at any speed over say 30 miles an hour the tires/wheels are fairly heavy and make a very strong gyroscopic effect anyway. People have actually experimented with counter rotating disk brakes in an attempt to cancel out some of the wheels gyro force in order to make the bikes less stable, and easier to turn.

  • Yeah, you're right. I thought about it some more after I posted 2 months ago and came to the same conclusion as you.

I've recently ridden on a motorbike, and I agree.

  • all bikes are self correcting gyroscopes

  • that true but only when you are going at high speeds, going at slow speed theres a very weak or no gyroscopic effect

  • it is easy to ride a bike without hands i do it all the time on the monon for like half a mile

  • It's easy until you ride slowly.

  • 0:46 i wonder how often it wants to go for walkies? woof woof!!

  • lol pet bike

  • That's not a true gyroscope. A true gyrscopic bike would be able to remain upright while the bike is stationary.

What this bike does is basically store kenetic energy in it's front wheel to give the illusion of being a gyroscope.

  • I think it's great.

  • I considered filing a patent for a gyroscopically stabilized bicycle. The gyroscope would be a large 45lb steel disc mounted on a vertical axis and powered by a 5hp gasoline engine through a gearbox to increase the RPM to ~10,000. You would be able to ride on ice and the gyroscopic precession would cancel the tendency for the bike to fall over when cornering. You could corner the bike without leaning (traction on ice is still an issue however to provide the required centripetal acceleration).

  • @oisiaa Hope the 5hp engine also powers the bicycle too otherwise that thing with its 45lb disc would be a bitch to ride up hills!

  • wow mate that is coool i really appriciate what you have designed :) good work make more i want one

  • this is best teaching children to ride a bike cause theres no danger :)...almost

  • I can do no hands up curbs and up and down hills while doing turns without a gyro bike but there was this one time i fell off my bike while doing no hands beceause i ran up a curb my but slipped off the seat the bike kept going straight for a while without me on it lol!

  • oh yeah well me and my cousin attached were doubling and i slipped off the seat and onto the tire and u can imagine the rest. we also put a sled on the back same with my quad

  • Haha brings back memories, yeah I doubled on a bike with my friend before and he was a guy so when he fell off the seat he fell into the tire and he hurt the family jewels. Then another time I ran over my friend with my bike because he was sitting on my bars and fell off!

  • i lol at he was a guy ya but what bout quadding like above and having the sled rolll now thats fun or the sled running into the quad. sled + bike + co-op = WALL

sled + quad + open pasture = OH SH**

  • Hmm sounds like a fun life lol, did you film the vid by any chance?

  • did i make a vid or did i film the vid i made?

  • How it works and where can i buy it?

  • it uses weight on both ends of the axles

  • can you turn easily? i mean say im going about 25mph would i be able to make a easy turn?
