You're offended by a review of a tool that I find incredibly useful? I paid for my copy, Wolflair did not ask me to film it. And you were offended by a titan that was a work in progress? Most of the channels you are still subscribed to do WIPs vids all the time. I'm just curious where you draw the line?

@doremicom i know its a 3 month old comment but trolls will be trolls. on any game/movie/political etc. they will always be there. plus. i just found this new army builder program called battlescribe. does prity much the same thing as armybuilder but free. its alittle hard to get used to and was pissing me off for getting it trying to work but after i worked it, it has worked wonders for me since than.

I do like army builder i just don't really agree with the cost of the license, yay $40 bucks but wait! we cant include any moderated codex's so i have to download those separately from a fanbased site. 40 is a little steep.

Doremicon, You should check out the new 3.2 version that is being released this month. Did I mention that it is a FREEEEEEEE upgrade. Not to mention all the data files are backward comp. Like the helpful vids that you have been making. They are great for new players as well as vets.

There is no monthly fee. It's $40 ($39.99) and it comes with a year's worth of updates. At the conclusion of a year, it still works, you just can't access updates until you renew the update license.

Theres also a thing called OnlineCodex for 40k and Fantasy which works in a similar way, but is for free.

This info can be found on page 37 of either the hard or soft covered rule book. It depends on what the attackers and defenders WS attribute values are. If you're confused on how they are used, check out the 4 part of my second tutorial series on basic assaults.

Army builder is far from useless. I've plugged in all kinds of army lists that people have brought to my table into the software only to find that they've miss calculated or flatly chose things that aren't allowed. I'm not suggesting that you have that problem, but for ease of use setting up army lists, testing out tweeks to those lists, and having sheets to reference during the game I haven't seen anything that comes close.

I finally caved in an bought it a couple months ago. Works like a charm, gets it done quickly and creates the nice chart for quick reference. love it
