From what I saw I could tell that it was a great throw, but frankly 75m is a little hard to believe, and it doesn't help that you didn't even bother to have the person filming the throw go a verify the distance. If it was 75m then great job, but I have my doubts (understandably).

@santeenl the left leg has to be locked, both in standing throw and with speed. you will generate more power, and throw longer.

Blocking is purely so the body speed will get into the arm, but without a run up it's useless, although I wont recommend doing it in practice because you will get used to it, but if you want to throw as far as possible from a stand still I would bow it 2

The key thing for any of the throws is that the left leg" lock's" or as I prefer to say straightens at release.

Look at any huge throw : it is always a constant no what else happens.

So going by your logic a high jumper and long jumper should be landing and jumping off of a straight leg?
